Below is a note from the Smith family Thank you for being the reason Samantha smiled when she returned from the hospital. Thank you for being the reason Samantha regained strength when she napped inside her new club house. Thank you for being the reason Samantha giggled for hours while riding on her new swing. You all went above and beyond to make Samantha the most amazing outdoor space in the universe. You thought of everything! From the palm trees, to the mural, three swings, bright colored pillows and the turquoise shutters! We feel so lucky and loved! We are grateful for the small things, the big things and everything in between! We are grateful for Rooms of Hope and all contributors! Thankful and Blessed The Smith's

It was an honor for me, as the project manager & interior designer of the Clubhouse, to work alongside fellow board members and designers, Stan Bochenek & Mike Firenze. Their jobs were challenging and they focused on designing everything outside of the Clubhouse to brighten Sam s world! Mike Delisle, from Creative Yards & Pools, contributed too by lending his design expertise, helping at the makeover and donating materials! Thanks to all of you for your forward thinking, imagination and generosity. Cheers to a job well done! All to see this one thing A Smile on Samantha s Face!

3 Sam Loves Hawaii, Turquoise, Bright Colors & Swinging! So Everything Was Designed With That In Mind Here s The Outside Of The Clubhouse With The Meandering Tropical Trail & Lattice Structure Leading Back To The Swing Area!

6 Two Thumbs Up From Pledge To Humanity Youth Girls Who Helped Raise Funds For This Makeover By A Bake Sale, Car Wash & Much More! Plus They Were In Charge of the Planter Boxes & Made Amazing Corn Holes!!! Thank you ladies and moms!

After A Long Day, Stan & I Locked Up The House & Were Super Excited For Samantha To Come Home From The Hospital And See Her Tropical Oasis! 3 Days Later She Did Just That On Mother s Day!

The Big Reveal Rooms of Hope did this makeover because Samantha is on a long journey battling leukemia. Often, her immune system is so depressed that she simply must not go out!

11 The Big Reveal Rooms of Hope did this makeover because Samantha is on a long journey battling leukemia. Often, her immune system is so depressed that she simply must not go out! Rooms of Hope is all about Creating Spaces That Matter at home, so that the child feels supported and loved in their environment, surrounded by everything that is unique and personal to them. This time just happened to be an outdoor oasis in her backyard which included a tropical setting for the Clubhouse & Swing Area. Because Samantha s counts were so low on the day of the reveal, only a small fraction of people who were part of this build could participate. Thank you Stan & Mike for hosting the reveal on such a beautiful day for Samantha! Thank you to all the photographers who chronicled the build & the special reveal, and thank you to each of you for the role you played in helping a local girl who s battling cancer! Samantha Certainly is a Warrior!!!
