However, this visit was extra special, because veteran therapy dog Susie Q came with her therapy puppy-in-training Rosie. She is growing up so fast, but still has that puppy look! A few residents enjoy the lovely weather while taking a walk down to the waterfall on the North Patio. What a great view! In the shade of the garden, the residents brought their regular Move n Groove group outside with a little parachute play! They really got moving with this favorite activity, and nothing beats the beautiful weather! Page 4

The food and the company were great, but the question is, who actually used their chopsticks? The regular bowling trip to Harvard Lanes has been a hit! 6 June 13th-19th was Resident Assistant Appreciation Week, and boy do our RA s deserve some appreciation! The residents know they have such a great care team working for them, they created Superstar buttons for the RA s to wear! At the end of the week, the RA s were invited to a cookout in the beautiful weather on the North Patio. Our wonderful Resident Assistants are the best in the state, so even though the week is over, don t forget to thank them for their kind hearts and hard work! During our weekly knitting group, Marjorie roped in her husband Norman to lend a hand! He sorted all of the remaining fibers of yarn to make cat toy donations! We don t usually have this male presence at knitting! Page 6

Last September, RiverCourt Residences was a proud sponsor of the Fruitlands Museum in Harvard s annual Crafts Festival. Almost 900 people visited and shopped at over 25 Crafters booths!

7 Last September, RiverCourt Residences was a proud sponsor of the Fruitlands Museum in Harvard s annual Crafts Festival. Almost 900 people visited and shopped at over 25 Crafters booths! With that sponsorship, RiverCourt is pleased to announce that we are a corporate member of the Fruitlands Museum through October 2013! This means that all our residents, their families and our staff can visit Fruitlands and enjoy the benefits of membership, including free admissions to the museum, as well as member discounts on special exhibits and the restaurant. All the grounds, exhibits and restaurant are open through October. Membership passes are available at our Concierge desk. If you plan a visit to Fruitlands, stop by and Elaine will provide you with a pass for your group! Enjoy!! Retired State Trooper Dan Clark, or better known as The Singing

Elaine Crandall, daughter of Bill and Bertha Cormier, returned to

9 Retired State Trooper Dan Clark, or better known as The Singing Trooper brought one of his lively and stellar performances to River- Court. Dan dances around with great energy as he sings with power and beauty. Most of his show is patriotic in theme, but he also has a few Irish songs to highlight his Irish heritage. There is not a dry eye in the house when he sings O Danny Boy. Elaine Crandall, daughter of Bill and Bertha Cormier, returned to bring one of her lovely workshops! This time, her students learned to make potpourri sachets, and she demonstrated how she makes her fresh potpourri. The Activity Room never smelled so fragrant! We all look forward to her next workshop! Page 9
