The Police and Fire Departments have asked that we remind everyone to avoid downtown Loveland if at all possible on the day of the parade.

PICTURE DAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We are in need of 10 volunteers to assist with LMS Picture Day on Friday, September 22nd. There are shifts available from 7:30am - 9:15am, 9:15am - 11:00am and 11:00am - 12:45pm. Please sign up using this link All volunteers receive a 50% off voucher for Lifetouch. ATTENTION PARENTS OF 8TH GRADE STUDENTS There will be an informational meeting for the 8th grade Washington, D.C. trip on Monday, Sept. 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the LIS cafeteria. This is the same meeting we had in the spring, so if you attended in the spring, you do not need to come. Save the Date: Saturday, October 7 The Loveland High School Athletic Boosters will be sponsoring their Fifth Annual mattress sale on Saturday, October 7. This has been a very successful fundraiser in local school districts for the past 10 years. We are very excited to have the opportunity to sponsor this event here in Loveland once again this year. All sizes, price ranges, delivery and free layaway will be available. Floor models will be on display at Loveland High School from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 7. We ll learn about tolerances, bearings, friction, aerodynamics and materials as we create our own specially designed spinners. Minecraft: Write and Play your own Mods! We ll learn the basics of JavaScript programming and make firework arrows, DeathStars and whatever else your imagination can dream up! We ll create our own Mods then use them as we explore our Minecraft world- defeating invading armies and evil warlords! Robotics: Hunger Games Volunteer as Tribute and see if you can be the last bot standing! Wearable Tech Combing Arts & Crafts with Technology we ll design wearables, then add electronics and LED lights to bring them to life! Digital Photography and Photoshop (Grades 7+) Learn how to use a DSLR Camera like the pros. Cameras are supplied or you can bring your own.
