The Police and Fire Departments have asked that we remind everyone to avoid downtown Loveland if at all possible on the day of the parade.
2 SCHOOL PICTURE DAY School picture day is September 22, The website below is where you can go to preview and order pictures. PICTURE DAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We are in need of 10 volunteers to assist with LMS Picture Day on Friday, September 22nd. There are shifts available from 7:30am - 9:15am, 9:15am - 11:00am and 11:00am - 12:45pm. Please sign up using this link All volunteers receive a 50% off voucher for Lifetouch. ATTENTION PARENTS OF 8TH GRADE STUDENTS There will be an informational meeting for the 8th grade Washington, D.C. trip on Monday, Sept. 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the LIS cafeteria. This is the same meeting we had in the spring, so if you attended in the spring, you do not need to come. We ll learn about tolerances, bearings, friction, aerodynamics and materials as we create our own specially designed spinners. Minecraft: Write and Play your own Mods! We ll learn the basics of JavaScript programming and make firework arrows, DeathStars and whatever else your imagination can dream up! We ll create our own Mods then use them as we explore our Minecraft world- defeating invading armies and evil warlords! Robotics: Hunger Games Volunteer as Tribute and see if you can be the last bot standing! Wearable Tech Combing Arts & Crafts with Technology we ll design wearables, then add electronics and LED lights to bring them to life! Digital Photography and Photoshop (Grades 7+) Learn how to use a DSLR Camera like the pros. Cameras are supplied or you can bring your own.
