6A Leung Sum Yuet An Argument between Gigi and Amy Gigi and Amy had an argument at recess last Monday. They were working on an English project. Gigi was a lazy girl and Amy was diligent. Gigi gave her work to Amy. Amy was very angry with her. Gigi said she was busy. She had to do her homework and studied for the dictation. Then, she needed to go to visit her grandfather because he was sick. Amy refused to help her because she thought everyone should be responsible. Their English teacher gave them a month to do it. Amy did her part responsibly. Gigi shouted at her and said she was not loyal. They argued. Gigi told other classmates. She said Amy wasn t loyal. They tried to bully Amy. Then, Amy cried loudly because they took her pencils and threw her pencil case. The most unacceptable behaviour was they kicked Amy in the playground and she got hurt! This time, Gigi thought they were too cruel. Gigi said sorry to Amy and told them to stop it. Gigi and Amy s group could hand in their work on time and they did well. They became friends again. They had learnt they should be loyal to all of their friends. 27

6B Leung Wing Ka Let s Protect the Environment in Hong Kong! There are many environmental problems in Hong Kong. If we keep polluting, many people will have health problems. Thus, we should do something good for the environment. Land pollution is a very serious problem in Hong Kong. People throw away so much rubbish such as disposable products, cans, bottles, etc. People waste a lot of food too. If we keep doing that, we will not have enough landfills for them. We should start recycling the reusable things. However, air pollution is bad for us too. There is so much traffic and factories which produce so many fumes. They make the air dirty. If we don t stop polluting the air, more and more people will have health problems. However, if we start planting more trees and using public transport instead of cars, the air can be more fresh and clean. Land pollution and air pollution are Hong Kong s serious problems. It is important for us to protect Hong Kong and there are many ways that we can help with it! Let s save our world now! 28

6B Shum Yue Cheung My Most Memorable Experience with My Family Last Sunday, I was free since I did all my homework. My mother and father did not need to go to work so we decided to go cycling in Tai Mei Tuk. We arrived at Tai Mei Tuk at about eleven twenty in the morning. The car park was full so we could not park our car there. My father thought of a great idea. He said, You can go to rent the bikes first. I will come later! OK! I replied. Then, my mother and I chose the bikes. My mother chose a black one. I chose a green one. My mother helped my father to choose the blue one. They were colourful. We crossed the zebra crossing. After that we saw a shop. We went down to the shop carefully. We arrive at Tai Mei Tuk! I shouted loudly. We took photos together. The view was very nice. I was excited about it so I rode the bike fast. I could not see that there were some people in front of me. Clash! My bike and another bike bumped each other. My bike was broken and I fell down on the floor. Are you OK? my mother and father said worriedly. My hands were bleeding. It was so painful! My mother used her phone to call the ambulance. After five minutes, the ambulance arrived. They took me to hospital. After the accident, I was ashamed. I said sorry to my mother and father because I made them worried. They were so good. They did not scold me. I 29

should watch out and be more careful when I ride a bike! I have to take good care of myself so that my parents do not need to worry about me. 30

6C Lok Ho Yeung Friendship Forever Ryan is my best friend. We have been friends since primary two. Although he is not studying in APSSS now, we are still keeping contact. I had an unforgettable experience with him. Last March, we decided to play table tennis in my club house because it was his birthday. We met there at two o clock. We paid the fee and walked to the field excitedly. Not so long after the game started, a gang came and occupied the table and did not let us play. I did not know what I ought to do because I was shocked. However, Ryan was brave and stood in front of me immediately and said, The table is not yours. You did not book it but we did! Don t block us! He shouted at the gang angrily and they were obviously scared of him and ran away. Eventually, we kept playing until our time was up. After that incident, we strengthened our friendship more. 31
