1 Summer Dance Holiday Program For: Juniors, Prep to Grade 3 Where: Dance Habit, 16B, Ashley Street, Braybrook Monday 14 January 2019 Dance Workshops: Hip-Hop, Ballet Extended Care: Yoga, Improvisation Tuesday 15 January 2019 Dance Workshops: Contemporary, Acro Extended Care: Movie Wednesday 16 January 2019 Dance Workshops: Jazz, Lyrical Extended Care: Crafts, Art Workshop Includes: Hip Hop, Ballet, Yoga, Improvisation, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Movie, Jazz, Lyrical, Crafts and Art Workshop. Plus, short fun performances at the close of each day showcasing routines learned. Price per child: One Day (9am-) $50.00 Two Days (9am-) $90.00 Three Days (9am-) $ Extended Care (-3.10pm) $25.00 per afternoon Full two days (9am-3.10pm) $ Full three days (9am-3.10pm) $ Early Bird (for bookings made by Friday 4 January) Book two full days for 5% off or three full days for 10% off!
2 DAY ONE Schedule for Monday 14 January Welcome and introductions followed by a game to get everyone prepared and comfortable with each other Warm up: Learn how to safely stretch and prepare the body for dance 9.15am am: Hip Hop (What to wear: sneakers) Hip Hop dance class including isolations, break dance, tutting, popping and locking Learn choreographed Hip Hop dance routine Learn how to freestyle and feel comfortable freestyling am am: (Please bring lots of snacks, strictly no nuts) 11.00am - : Ballet (What to wear: ballet shoes or bare feet) Ballet barre and centre exercises Focus on correct technique and alignment Travelling enchaînements Learn choreographed ballet dance pm 1.00pm pm Yoga A calm stretch including breath control, meditation and specific postures Learn tools to calm the mind for relaxation and focus

Use your imagination and discover how to tell a story through dance Learn how to work as a team Learn different techniques and approaches to developing choreography Parents/caregivers invited to join us for a Dance a short showcase of everything learned during Day One. DAY TWO Schedule for Tuesday 15 January Welcome and introductions followed by a game to get everyone prepared and comfortable with each other Warm up: Learn how to safely stretch and warm up the body 9.15am am: Contemporary Contemporary dance class including freedom and release plus artistic expression through movement Creative group dance activities Develop confidence through improvised movement Learn choreographed Contemporary dance routine 11.00am am: (Please bring lots of snacks, strictly no nuts) 11.15am - : Acrobatics Learn the basics for acrobatics strength, forward and backwards rolls, handstands, correct alignment of the body, bridges, cartwheels, round offs, partner work or more advanced skills for those who have experience Learn choreographed acrobatic routine.
