PARKNG: When you check in, you will receive special parking passes for the exact # of busses & equipment vehicles you have listed. There is no space to accommodate any extra vans, motor homes or personal vehicles. 2 JUDGES COMMENTARY AND SCORE SHEETS will be presented to each band at the retreat ceremony. SCORES will not be posted. They will be announced at the Retreat ceremony. All Bands must have representation at Retreat. Saturday night retreat will include only DM's, CO's and Seniors. WRSTBANDS: Your members' wristbands are enclosed in the packet you will receive when you check in at your site. Please see that every band member gets one, this is their only way back into the stadium to watch other performing units. The one plastic wrist band is to be used for both days and are water proof. VDEO TAPNG: While we do not tell your boosters they cannot video tape the band's final performance, we do need your support in telling them that we will not permit tripods, monopods or any other apparatus and no ice chests in the stands. This is not only for safety purposes, but to be sensitive to the space needed for all of our viewers. There will be security personnel at the entrance to assure that these objects are not allowed into the stadium. Remember, the band receives a complimentary DVD of your performance compliments of Mr. Video. Also, please remind your boosters that we have a professional multi-cam produced DVD of the entire contest for purchase. PT PASSES: Your pit passes are also enclosed in that packet. Your Pit passes will serve you for both days. Please remind your chaperones to remain with the students when they are not performing. PT EQUPMENT: Pit carts will use the performer entrance into both facilities. Prior to entering the performance area, (the goal line) wait far 'the timing and penalty judge to give you the go ahead to proceed. After unloading the equipment, move pit carts to the end of field, opposite the stadium pit cart entrance, make a V-turn and wait for the completion of the performing band. Stay off of the performance field. At the 4/5A site, NO CARTS MAY BE ON THE TURF. YOU MUST STAY ON THE TRt\CK. At the 12/3A site, please keep pit equipment on the path within the stadium. BUS DRVERS: driver. Will be allowed free access to the show. They must be in uniform or have an J.D. showing they are a EQUPMENT 'VEDCLE PARKNG: Keep all vehicles together when you arrive for the competition, then move the equipment vehicle after your performance., You may NOT send your equipment truck ahead of the bus arrival. Repeat: All vehicles must enter together. Vehicles will not be allowed to park over night. WARM-UP AREAS: Are designated on the enclosed maps for both sites. Please do not deviate from this. Be sensitive to sound interference with bands already in 'competition. The use of Dr. Beat is strictly prohibited in this area. PERFORMERS RE-ENTRY ON SATURDAY: All Performers and band Chaperones, who are wearing pit pass wrist bands are offered seating on the back stage side line at Kolegian. Because space permits, we will permit front side seating at Fresno City in the end zone area from the 25 yd line to the 0 yard line. This area will be roped off. Please remind your students to keep noise levels down when bands are on the field. On Sunday, Non-Finalist Bands wearing their participant wristbands are invited to attend finals free of charge. Show your wristband at the performer gate; move directly to the performer seats designated above FOLLOWNG YOUR PERFORMANCE: Please have your students completely exit the performing area. They are welcome to watch other bands ONLY from the appropriate assigned seating for non-performing band. PROFESSONAL PHOTOS: WBA will receive a fee from our contracted photographer for every band whose group picture they take. PLEASE be supportive of this effort and take your students to this photo area after your prelim performance.

There will also be the opportunity for your members to purchase a copy of their performance at the site shortly following their appearance. This year's expanded service to our members includes a professionally shot multi-camera record of the individual bands as well as the Championship Contest. You can pre-order at the site or order on-line after the event. CLASS CHAMPONSHP RETREAT (Saturday): There will be an award ceremony at the conclusion of the day, consisting of Drum Majors, Guard Captains and Seniors. At this time we will announce scores and award the class Champion banners, placement, special awards trophies, and participant plaques. Each winning Band will receive Class Championship medallions for each of its members. When the announcer directs the students to prepare for the retreat, please go to the staging area. Put your band in squads of 4. Banners ~ Class champion banners will be presented to each of the class champions Trophies ~ 1st, 2nd,3rdplace trophies & caption awards will be presented in each class. Plaques: ~ Participant plaques will be given to bands placing 4thand lower Patches: ~ WBA Championship 2010 patches will be presented to all students who participate on Saturday. We are not differentiating between finalists and non finalists. Patches can be found in your Directors' check in bag. We regret that we cannot enteliain your.students with fkeworks as we had planned. City ordinances in Fresno forbids this. Banners.- ~ Combined Class champion banners will be presented to each ofthe combined class champions Trophies ~ 1st,2nd,3rdplace trophies & caption awards in each class. Medals ~ Championship gold medals will be issued to the members of each combined class champion band (l A/2A/3A Champions and 4A/5A Champions.) ~ The 2ndand 3rd highest scoring bands will receive silver and bronze medals in eac\1 combined class. GRAND CHAMPON ~ The Grand Champion Trophy will be presented to the highest scoring band overall. We no longer do a sweepstakes award. ~ Grand Champion Banners will be presented to each of the combined Champions.
