2 Dear Club Membears, As summer draws to a close and we look forward to autumn, we are thrilled to say that the 2008 Cherished Teddies Club year has certainly been an exciting one so far. This year s Club theme is all about Fun in the Sun and we hope your summer has been filled with memorable carefree days. Here at Club Headquarters we certainly have been having a wonderful year -- our surf-loving Membears Only Figurines have been very well received, we have had so much fun with our contests, and hearing reaction to new exclusive pieces has been like a day at the beach. We have included plenty of news you can use in this issue of the Town Tattler. One day a woman named Jennifer came in and was asking about Cherished Teddies. Having started collecting them myself, I gave her some information about them and told her about a local club I went to. Before she left, we had a great conversation and decided to go to the club meeting together. We have been to many CT events, signings and collectibles conventions together over the years. And while work, family, and life takes a lot of our time, we still make sure we take an occasional road trip to go bear hunting or just do dinner to catch up on things. We always try to be there for each other. She was there for me through it all when my Dad passed away last year. Attend the Cherished Teddies Event of the Decade! at Walt Disney World Resort from December 4-7, 2008 You have probably heard about the Cherished Teddies Weekend Christmas Extravaganza at Walt Disney World, and now is your last chance to be a part of all the excitement. Believe us when we say this is one event you DEFINITELY DON T WANT TO MISS! Space is filling fast and you must register 30 days in advance to be guaranteed a spot. This event is a special after hours, VIP event! SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH Saturday begins with a full buffet breakfast along with an Enesco product presentation plus great games and prizes.
