2 THE 2017 DANCE COMBINE EVENT DETAILS FOR PARTICIPANTS We are so excited to announce The 2017 Dance Combine taking place on May 21 st in Las Vegas, NV. This event will be at Foothill High School in the main gymnasium. It is the first dance team recruiting event of its kind and will help high school dancers how to properly prepare for the college of their choice. This is an opportunity for dancers to get noticed and evaluated by top college coaches from across the nation. The 2017 Dance Combine is more than just learning and performing routines, this is your opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and walk out of the event with a better understanding of what it takes to audition for a collegiate program. Throughout the day, participants will demonstrate their abilities through across the floor/center floor technique, and three professional master classes in Pom, Jazz, and Hip Hop. College coaches from all divisions (D1A, D1, OPEN) will evaluate and assess the athletes throughout the day. Register NOW to unlock your future and realize your potential. 3 To REGISTER for the 2017 Dance Combine, GO TO: In order to complete registration, you will need to: 1) Complete the Registration Form 2) Complete payment via PayPal As soon as you have completed registering, you will receive an with the information packet attached! You will need to bring the following with you to Welcome/Registration the morning of May 21 st : * You MUST have following things with you to participate Copy of Insurance Card (front and back) Current Head Shot EACH DANCER WILL NEED TO BRING: Four 8 counts of choreography/freestyle: Individuals will be asked to perform a four eight count combination that emphasizes your personal strengths and highlights your skills and style. TRIBE 99 will provide music and coaches will be evaluating the candidates on the difficulty and execution of skills included as well as individual style and body control demonstrated. Snacks and Water for the entire day Attire for Pom, Jazz & Hip Hop Dance shoes for Jazz and Pom (jazz shoes, pirouette shoes, dance paws, etc) Shoes for Hip Hop (tennis shoes, running shoes, etc) Notebook & Pen to write down information from all seminars
