The parade minus expenses has benefited charity for the past 11 years, bringing total donations now to over $147,439! The party hosted by the GEP Board of Directors thanks Easter Grand Marshals XIII Darwin Reed and Rhonda Roget, as well as all of the sponsors and venues which made this huge success a reality. They chose Starships by Nicki Minaj as this year's song and have set a goal of $10,000 for their chosen charity, Belle Reve. Additionally the grand marshals announced the "official" sponsors including Ambush Mag, SouthernDecadence.COM, Quartermaster Deli, Harrah s, Scoots, Absolut, Bud Light, QT Pie, Panda Bear, Bayou Beau, Fifi Mahoney s, Rathbone Mansions, and Grey Cross Studios.
