2 The LCC 60th Anniversary Reunion Information Guide LCC Alumni and friends, welcome to our exciting reunion weekend celebrating 60 years of the Lochearn Pool. Yes, the pool is still open for business and the Monsters are still swimming back in the woods of lovely downtown Lochearn. It s going to be a blast catching up with members from all of the decades starting with some of our 1958 original members up to our current members. We have 3 days of fun activities planned for you including awards and honors for some of our past members. We will pay homage to our older alumni members who paved the way back in the late 50 s and early 60 s. We will also be saluting two swim teams from our past (80 s & 2000 s) for the accomplishments they achieved. Coaches, Swimmers, Divers and select other members will also be honored at our awards ceremony. The reasons we are having an event of this magnitude are; one it has never been done before on this grand of a scale and two we are raising much needed funds to help the pool through a considerably hard time. Funds raised will help fix the road and help maintain and upgrade the infrastructure of the pool through these times of escalating costs. Please take advantage of all of the fundraisers offered over the weekend as it will help make Lochearn strong and your weekend extremely enjoyable. Enclosed you will find your reunion packet. 4 60th Anniversary Reunion Menu While the best part of the 60th Anniversary Lochearn Reunion is going to be the chance to reconnect with old friends and revisit some of the magic of our younger years with music, games and other great activities, we thought we would tempt you with some advance information on the menus as well! FRIDAY NIGHT, we ll be having a meet & greet pool party with Karaoke, Adult Games and food! Featuring Jersey Mike s subs (Home of great subs made with pride, Jersey Mike s features freshly baked bread, quality fresh produce, lean tasty meats and aged cheeses!), we will also have plenty of other tasty offerings! SATURDAY DURING THE DAY will be full of fun and games as well as some special presentations to past and current notables and a silent auction. SATURDAY NIGHT the silent auction will draw to a close while we dine on many Maryland favorites, including crab dip, fried chicken, fresh corn, shrimp and a host of other Maryland favorites! We also have special entertainment planned! SUNDAY we will be wrapping up with a Jazz brunch from 10 am to 12pm, with light fare such as muffins, bagels and fruit salad.
