1 2018 ACTIVITY SCHEDULE APRIL CLEAN UP WEEKEND Welcome Back! The snow has melted (hopefully) and spring is in the air! Time to pick up the leaves, dig out your camp chairs and get your sites ready for the upcoming camping season. MAY 4-6 SOUP POT LUCK DINNER Catch up with your camp family Saturday evening at our annual soup pot luck! Share your favorite soup and show your culinary magic! Bingo will be held Friday & Saturday night. MAY MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND What better way to celebrate Mother's Day than camping as a family! Kids join us in making a special craft to give to our amazing moms! Moms meet us at 11am for Mimosa's and Painting! Class is $20 and includes all the supplies you need, including step by step instruction to paint your own masterpiece using acrylic paint on an 11x14in canvas panel. Mimosa will be provided! Bingo will be held Friday & Saturday night. Sunday morning our staff will host a breakfast to show our appreciation for all the love and support we get from our wonderful camping moms! Moms eat free. MAY CAMPER APPRECIATION WEEKEND We truly think our campers are the greatest and to show our appreciation we are offering ½ price RV and tent sites and 20% off cabin and cottage rentals this weekend! Free pedal cart and boat rentals and ½ price golf cart rentals. To top it all off we are hosting an ice cream sundae social! Just our little way of saying THANK YOU for your continued support! MAY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND Help us kick off the vacation season with the official opening of our heated swimming pool & splash pad! Whether you're watching or competing in our bocce ball & washer board tournaments, it's
2 guaranteed to keep the good times rolling! Speaking of rolling... don't forget to decorate your bikes and golf carts for our red, white & blue parade! Bingo on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Everyone's favorite, candy bar bingo on Monday morning! JUNE 1-3 HERO'S WEEKEND & WINE GLASS PAINTING Heros (Police, Firefighters, EMT, Nurses and Military- ID required) get 20% off campsites, cabins and cottages! Wine glass painting class is $20.00 and includes all the supplies you need, including instruction from instructor Mariah Hall, who studied Fine Arts at Corning CC & University of Albany, SUNY. Choose from a variety decorative stencils to make your glass unique to you. BYOB. Bingo will be held Friday & Saturday night. JUNE 8-10 ANIMAL LOVERS WEEKEND Pets camp free this weekend! The Ross Park ZooMobile will be here on Saturday! They will be bringing a variety of live animals for you to watch, learn about and possibly even pet. There will a 45 minute show starting at 1pm. If you miss the first show, don t worry! You can attend the second showing at 2pm. The two shows will be the same. Bingo Friday JUNE FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND Relax at the lake this Father's Day. Our annual fishing tournament will be held Saturday morning. Test your athletic abilities in our dad vs kids kickball game! Sunday morning we ask the whole family to join us for breakfast to show our appreciation for all the amazing fathers out there! Dads eat free. Bingo Friday JUNE REDNECK WEEKEND Show us your redneck style while we challenge you in our blind folded golf cart races, horseshoe tournament and cow pie bingo! Bingo Friday JUNE 29 - JULY 8 FOUTH OF JULY CELEBRATION What's the most American way to celebrate the 4 th of July when it falls on a Wednesday? We celebrate all week long! Activities include turtle races, golf cart parades, hayrides, Bingo and candy bar Bingo too! Saturday, June 30 th & Friday July 6 th Fireworks over the lake! Tuesday, July 3 rd Kevin Treat The Sawptician demonstrating a live chainsaw carving!
3 Wednesday, July 4 th Paint & Sip class! $20 includes all the supplies you need, including step by step instruction to paint your own masterpiece using acrylic paint on an 11x14in canvas panel. BYOB JULY PCL PINEWOOD DERBY This weekend we have races for all ages! Stop in the office to purchase a derby car kit Friday evening and we will help you build it for Saturday's race. Cars must be built with kits purchased from the office and designed together at the Rec Hall. Boy Scout standards will be used. Bingo Friday JULY PCL 500 WEEKEND Together we will design & build your very own cardboard race car! Bring your pit crew (friends & family) and driver (that's you!) to our race where you'll make three (running) laps around our track while completing a task at each pit stop. Be sure the wear shoes with laces! Whether you are participating or watching this event is guaranteed to be a great time! Bingo Friday JULY FUN WITH FOAM & WATER WARS Wear a bathing suit and we'll get the fun started with a squirt gun and water balloon war! Have you ever been to a foam pit party? Well now's your chance! Wear a swimsuit and come out for a foamy fun time! Don't forget to bring your goggles. Bingo Friday AUG 3-5 INFLATABLE FUN & CANVAS PAINT & SIP Bounce, slide or maybe even try your hand at our obstacle course! This Saturday we will have fun inflatables for kids (and adults!) to bounce and slide around in! Canvas painting class is $20 and includes all the supplies you need, including step by step instruction to paint your own masterpiece using acrylic paint on an 11x14in canvas panel. BYOB. Sign up in the office! AUG CARDBOARD BOAT REGATTA Build your boat and meet us at the lake to race! Cardboard, paint and duct tape only! Prizes awarded for fastest time, most creative design, and the most people in a boat without sinking. If you're scared of water, come and watch the others sink! Bingo Friday AUG WET N' WILD & HAWAIIAN THEMED POOL PARTY Dig out those squirt guns and water balloons and join us in a very wet and wild battle. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt, shorts, hat, sunglasses and join us at the pool for a party! Compete in our limbo
4 and hula hoop contest or just enjoy the show! Bingo Friday AUG STIR CRAZY COOKING GAME SHOW Ever wonder if you've got what it takes to win a cooking game show such as chopped? Well now is your chance! Join us as we put our campers to the test to find out whose the next PCL top chef! Bingo Friday AUG 31-SEPT 3 LABOR DAY WEEKEND Last weekend Pool is open! There's still time to play, its Labor day!! Find great bargains or sell some unused treasures in our campground wide yard sales. Want a challenge? Meet new friends at our washer-board tournament! Bring your best players and join in our quarterback challenge and flag football game. Decorate your sites in your favorite team and join us for the best tailgating food ever, Chili! Think you have the best chili recipe? We want to taste it! Cook a LARGE pot of chili to enter the cook-off! SEPT PAINT & SIP CLASS This class will either be canvas or wine glass painting.
