We hope you all have had a great summer and now are feeling refreshed and energized for the new season ahead. The first General Meeting for will be held at 10:30am, on Tuesday, 16 th September at the Four Seasons Lion Palace. The meeting will open with general announcements, Winter Bazaar 2014, activities and new members presentation. Voznesensky Ave, 1, St Petersburg Nearest metro: Admiralteyskaya It is a great opportunity to renew your membership and catch up with you fellow members. Also, signing up for activities for the coming year. The membership annual fee is rub, and rub for half year. The membership form can be downloaded from the IWC website, which you can complete and bring it along with you. The meeting will be followed by lunch. Lunch cost is 900 rub. If you are staying for lunch, please advise if you would like the vegetarian option, and if you are a newcomer to the IWC. PETERSBURG MAY WEEK 23 CHARITY COMMITTEE NEWS Every year the Charity Committee donates funds to some charity organisations in St Petersburg, which are used to purchase respite care, training, equipment and basic necessities, such as food and clothing. Below are two thank you letters from Everychild and Harbour to the IWC for supporting their cause. Everychild - is an organisation that provides respite care for families with intellectually or physically disabled children. In the IWC year we donated a total of 100,000rub for respite care. Harbour - is an organisation that assists exorphans integrate into society and 'real life' once they leave the orphanage. In the IWC year we donated a total of 66,200rub for equipment for various classes, including cooking, computer, art, ceramic along with a washing machine and shelving units.
