Beachcomber Days in Waldport was clearly one of the best ever. The new Beachcomber crew, including the President and Secretary, did a fabulous job of organizing and advertising this event. Members of the Moose Lodge who participated and volunteered their time and energy did an outstanding job supporting all of our events. The fire dancers were as good as I have ever seen. With July arriving very soon, the crabbing will be picking up soon. And, the fall salmon season opens on August 1st. We are looking forward to our annual crab feed in August (August 25) and then again we will participate in the "Crusin for Crab" in September. And, we at the Waldport Moose Lodge have been advised that the Supreme Governor from Moose International will visit our lodge on August 8th for an "Official Visitor Dinner". This is truly an honor for our lodge. This event will be a formal dinner and will include select members of our community who will receive tokens from the Supreme Governor to distribute to families in distress or need. Our kitchen continues to produce excellent meals at an affordable price. Check out our Snorter online or come in to the lodge for your copy. Fraternally,, Administrator Howdy! FROM THE GOVERNOR The Mayor read the Proclamation, then the Coronation of the Beachcomber Days Queen, then the Big Band, very good music! Then on Saturday, the Lodge had Vendors on John St that went very well, and the Parade was very good! Had a nice turn-out for all events. Every event went over very peaceful. A great THANK YOU for all the volunteers who helped out. We couldn t have done it without all of you. Thank you, Willie Parrett, Governor REGULAR LODGE HOURS MONDAY THURSDAY: 11 am 9 pm FRIDAY SATURDAY: 11 am MIDNIGHT SUNDAY: - ; SQ - 11 am 8 pm DINNER NIGHTS: TUESDAYS, FRIDAYS & SATURDAY 5:00 7:00 pm : TUE 7-10:00 & FRI 7-11:30 pm
