President s report: Rick welcomed the members and wished a Happy Birthday to all those celebra#ng in July also hope you have a good 4 th of July Holiday. All those wanted to bring their cars and ride in the 4 th of July parade to meet at Wayne s house at 8am. All those aiending the Harrington event had a great #me this year and congratula#ons to Dick Cox for winning the Slow Drag. Rick reminded everyone that our Bakery Express Show will be held on July 17 at their loca#on. Need car care products or donate $5 so Russ can buy what he needs for the show. Rick announced all the upcoming Car shows for July for more info please check the calendar. The buses for the Atlan#c City trop will be reserved, hope we can sell both buses. The club picnic will be held on September 18, more info next month. Wishing all the best of health to Molly Boyd, John Pulver, Bill Hall, and Doug Prinkey. Treasures report: Mary reported that the Food drive brought in $ and a total of $ was donated to Sarah s house. The objectives of this club are to promote interest in the preservation and enjoyment of old cars, accessories and associated lore, and to enjoy the companionship of their owners. We are looking forward to another great year. Please review the following guidelines for displaying your vehicle at the 2016 festival. 1. Registration: This year s registration fee will be $10.00 per Antique Auto. This fee will cover any day or days you wish to attend the festival. Your registration includes free admission for 2 people in the car. If there are more than two people in your auto, the additional people will be charged $5.00 per person at the gate. Please do not bring cars newer than 1980 and cars must be in show quality condition. Due to limited space, we can only accept 250 cars per festival day. All autos attending the display must be preregistered. Registrations are accepted on a first come first serve basis. All registrations must be received by September 1 st due to mailing confirmation letters. Display cars must be present on the festival grounds by 11:00 AM daily or they will not be admitted. Please plan for the festival traffic so you arrive at the festival by 11:00 AM. (Church services are held in Apple Auditorium at 10:00AM each Sunday). No tents or canopies permitted in display area. Smoking permitted in designated areas only. 2. Directions: You will receive a registration confirmation letter. You must bring this confirmation letter with you every day you attend the festival. As you enter the festival grounds the Fire Police will direct you to the Antique Auto gate. After checking in with the Antique Auto staff you will be given an information packet and further direction to park your vehicle. 3. Awards: Awards will be presented daily at 2:45 under the Antique Auto display tent. After the completion of the awards presentation, the gate will be reopened for autos to leave the festival grounds. All autos need to remain on display from 11:00 through the awards program. 4. Questions: If you have any questions please contact the National Apple Harvest Festival Office ( or appleharvest@embarqmail.com). One of the Festival secretaries will answer your questions or you may leave a message for one of the Antique Auto committee members.
