Buddy opened with a prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. Rick welcomed everyone and thanked them for a good year. He expressed best wishes to everyone for a good holiday season with their family. Sunshine concerns for get well wishes to Alisa Helmick, Pat Tormollan, Gail Smith, Bill Grammer, Dina McKenny and Jon Pulver. We congratulated Ginny Woody on the birth of her great grand child and to Brandon Richards who has joined the National Guard. Rick thanked Dick Smith for his opening prayer at the Veterans Show and how touching it was. Mary gave the treasurer s report. The Veterans Show was a great success and we were able to make $ in donations. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. Mary was able to get our Officers insurance reduced by changing from Mercer to to Hagerty Insurance. She was able to get the premium locked in for 3 years. The Centre of Glen Burnie will be under going some construction in 2017 and we are unsure a this time if we need to make any changes. Rick will talk to them soon. Rick asked for baked goods, raffle baskets and auction items for our Christmas Show Dec. 11. We will be selling shirts and decals. This show benefits Juvenile Diabetes Research. Please plan to attend and support this show. The Atlantic City bus trip tickets are going slow. The deadline is Dec. 15. See Diane Pattan if interested. We all signed cards for Troops that were available from the Legion. Rick read a thank you note from Pop s Doo Wop. George Miller won the 50/50. The next meeting is Feb. 22, The meeting was closed with a prayer. Holiday refreshments were served. William Alan Bodenstein, 75, died at home on January 5, Bill was a member of the Street Survivors and several other car clubs. He had a GTO and always had large stuffed animals in his car. He had been sick since August. Frederick Moore, Mary s brother passed away after heart surgery. He lived in Arkansas and was buried with full military honors. 3

6 SOME IRISH HUMOR Six Irish men were playing poker when one of them played a bad hand and died.the rest drew straws to see who would tell his wife. One man draws the shortest straw and goes to his friend s house to tell the wife.the man says to her, Your husband lost some money in the poker game and is afraid to come home.
