1 JULY 2018 News & Views STREET SURVIVORS OF MARYLAND, INC. P.O. BOX BROOKLYN PARK, MD Club Members, Our Cruise season seems to be a hit or miss with the weather. On the good nights we have a decent turnout, the weather forecast makes a big difference. A group of us went to York and the forecast turned out to be wrong with only rain at night. We still had a good time as always. Thanks to all who supported the St. Casimir s show despite the weather. Our Food Drive this past Friday night was well supported. We donated over 14 boxes of food and collected cash donations for the Christian Assistance Program at Ken Parcher s church. We will be in Harrington this weekend and if you plan to attend look for our set up, you can t miss it. Those leaving on Thursday, we will be meeting at the Cracker Barrel on Rt. 50 at 7am for breakfast before going to the show to set up. The Bakery Express Show is July 15. Russ Richards is planning a cruise to the Catoctin Winery Car Show and Roddy Covered Bridge on July 21. This will be a good time. It s not to soon to start getting donations for the Veteran s Show. There is a flyer and letter in this Newsletter along with information about the Bakery Show and Winery Car Show.
