7 Key Master Plan Objectives Preserve prime farmland for agricultural production Restrict growth-inducing factors such as sanitary sewers and encourage development practices that permanently preserve open space and farmland Manage growth to maintain public health and safety so that desirable environmental resources and features are not destroyed. Preserve & restore historic buildings and sites Streamline development review procedures Promote energy efficient designs and provisions for renewable energy resources Ensure that development does not conflict with neighboring municipalities, the County, the region and the State.
