1 Saltwater Fly Anglers of Delaware SFAOD Our club library includes books, CDs, cassettes, and DVD videos pertaining primarily to fly fishing both fresh and saltwater but also tying flies and training videos. Catalogs are no longer kept in the library. The library includes how-to books/videos (relating to techniques for rigging, knots, casting, fly-tying, reading structure, etc.), species and/or location specific resources, stories about actual fishing experiences and fictional works about fly-fishing (more for your reading, viewing or listening pleasure). The most popular of these resources will be brought to monthly meetings unless the librarian cannot attend and cannot make arrangements for someone else to bring everything. (Send me an if you need to request one that seldom gets checked out.) WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PUTTING LIBRARY ITEMS ON OUR WEB SITE. To check out an item you must be a Member of SFAOD. A sign-out spiral notebook will be near the library. Write down: 1) the Item Number and note if it is a book or video, 2) the Title you are borrowing, 3) the Date checked out and 4) your Name. Please PRINT your name so it is readable. Since many members may wish to check out popular titles, it is suggested that (when possible) titles be returned a month after checkout or 60 days at a maximum. When you return the item, enter the date returned in the notebook and cross through the entire line. You may return an item to the librarian whenever you see that person - at a meeting, at fly-tying or if fishing (borrow book will be filled out for you by the librarian). The librarian will attempt to keep all titles available upto-date on this posted listing which will be ed periodically and on our web site. If you have a book or video to donate to SFAOD, please bring it to a meeting and give to the librarian. If you wish to check out an audio cassette and don t have a player ask the librarian to loan you an audio tape player. If you don t find what you are looking for, ask...it may be possible to make another copy (e.g. if a DVD gets lost). You may donate older VHS videos and the librarian will convert them to DVD format. Members may have personal reference material they are willing to share. The numbers may not be sequential since some books were removed and there is a separate listing for videos. Also Note!
