1 AC NMAH 60 Scope and Content Note: Fences 2 Boxes This material consists primarily of pamphlets, printed advertisements, trade catalogues, calendars, trade cards, patents and scattered correspondence on letterhead stationary from manufacturers and distributers of fences. These companies sold fences for both home and commercial use. There are also some materials with reference to gates and iron railings. The material dates from 1856 to 1941, but the bulk is late nineteenth century early twentieth century. Materials in box one are organized by name of company.
