This translation guide is intended to be used while playing through Virtual Fishing s Tournament Mode. You can either print this guide or keep it handy on a computer screen as you play through the fishing tournaments on your Virtual Boy. The original Japanese screens are on the left, while the English translation screens are on the right. 2 Virtual Fishing s Title Screen: When you press the START button, the screen below appears. RECORDS Press the A button on an empty file slot to go to the Registration Screen, where you will create a new save file. 2

3 Press the A button here to select REGISTER. VICTORY RECORDS REGISTER Using the left control pad and the A button, enter up to 7 Japanese characters for your name. NAME INPUT OK When you have finished entering your name, select OK in the lower right of the screen and press the A button. 3

4 A window will pop open, asking you for your gender. NAME INPUT GENDER? MALE FEMALE OK Select MALE if you are a male and FEMALE if you are a female. Then press the A button. START VICTORY RECORDS RECORDS FISH BOOK DELETE Choose START to go to the fishing map, where you can select the first tournament. 4

5 TOURNAMENT 1 FISHING MAP The 1 st tournament should already be selected when you first arrive here. Press the A button to read the tournament s details.
