A Big Thank You... for raising 275,000 for our School. We just need 55,000 more to complete it. Our School is scheduled to open on in the presence of HH Dalai Lama and we hope you can join us.

2 Why play the Care Invitational? Simple you play in a unique event that is all about building friendships and bringing together like minded people for golf and social events to support childrens charities. When you play with us you can boast having contributed towards building 10 schools and various disability centres. We are comitted to looking after 6000 children worldwide through Caretrust with your support. We are different, seriously besides playing for charity to help underprivileged children we are predominantly fun loving guys, and if you do not mind playing golf like us in the rain, the snow or even during a hurricane then you belong with us. We find golf is best defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle. Interesting thing about us is that no matter how badly we play it is always possible to get worse and our best shots are always the gimme putts. Our members have years of experience with lots of lessons, experiments, struggles and if you are a true golfer you will understand some of our new rules organised just for you when you play with us. We have worked very closely with the R&A (the golfing body) to produce a unique code of rules so that whenever and wherever we play we want you to make the most of the day. A word of warning Caregolf is like a marriage if you take it too seriously it won t work and both are expensive.

Our Rules You are only allowed up to 5 minutes to address your ball Play your provisional ball first Lots of gimmes best referred as a loose agreement between you and the member neither of who can putt very well Water is a hazard but as a special rule you can ground your ball retriever Please note on the day one of our expert members will be playing with you and will share some valuable tips, thoughts and insider information, they will: Teach you curse words creatively to control your ball flight Help find the ball that everyone saw go in the water Assist you to properly line up your fourth putt How to rationalise a six hour round and share our secrets as how to relax during that round Hold the torch for you on the 18th green 30 minutes after the sun has set We hope you will be able to join us once again on the 23rd July 2010 for another remarkable and unforgettable day. Having gained a great deal of experience and feedback from last year we are well prepared for 2010 and are sure it will be better than ever before! 4 The Package (leave your wallet in the locker) The day will begin with a full English Breakfast Veg and Non Veg including pastries and fresh juices, teas and coffees. Registration will begin from 8 am in the morning and please do not forget to collect your goodie bag. We will tee off from the 1st and 10th Tee in teams of 4 ball. A total of 100 golfers will be competing. There will be a Halfway house situated between the 1st and 10th tee and volunteers will be waiting there to welcome you with some delicious food. Refuel shrug of the last nine holes and get ready to demolish the next nine. Once you have finished your game enjoy a drink or two or as many as you want.. (it is an open bar) and then join us in the evening for a three course meal overlooking the Seve signature 18th hole. Having received your feedback this year will be operating a two tier group (a) golfers with low handicap (b) golfers with high handicap. The cut will be decided according to the range of handicaps on the final list. 8 CARETREK We have officially launched caretrek which, like caregolf, will raise funds for CAREducation Trust. Caretrek will organise trekking expeditions initially in the Manali area of the Himalays but will expand in due course to other areas. A trek is being organised for October 2010 to coincide with the opening of the Manali school.
