3 Bylaws Article I Title The name of this organization shall be the golf league at Blue Mash Golf Course. Article II Purpose The golf league is formed for the purpose of promoting interest in competitive and social events for women golfers. Play will take place on Monday mornings. Article III Membership Section 1 All women golfers are eligible to join the league or play as a guest. The Tournament Director will work with golfers who do not have an established USGA handicap to determine the most equitable temporary handicap while the golfer establishes her handicap. Section 2 Dues are set by the officers and will be due and payable on or prior to the opening day for each League (Spring & Summer). Article IV Obligations Membership in the golf league shall bind each member to abide by the provisions of these Bylaws, Amendments, Rules and Regulations. Each member is required to post her own score for every round played throughout the year when the course is playable. Schedule The is comprised of a Spring and a Summer League. Players may join one or both leagues. The schedule is as follows: 3

5 Fees League Registration League Registration includes season prize fund and end of season luncheon. Registration for each league (Spring & Summer) will be $ Save 15% by joining both leagues at the beginning of the Spring League for $85.00 Monday Day of Play and Major Tournaments Tournament fee includes 18 hole of golf, warm-up bucket of balls & $5.00 toward day of play prizes. $54.00 (cart) $50.00 (walk) Guests Guests are welcome and encouraged to play in the golf league. In addition to the tournament fees, guest will pay an additional $20.00 and are eligible for day of play and Major Tournament prizes. Once guests have played a total of five tournaments (includes playing in Spring and/or Summer League) she will automatically become a league member and will not pay the additional $ As a league member, players will be eligible for season prizes. Scoring This is a low net competition. The scoring breakdown is: 1 st Place 60 points, 2 nd Place -58 points, 3 rd Place 56 points, and so on until all players participating in the tournament have been accounted for. Each Major tournament will award double points. Prizes Day of play and Major tournaments will award prizes to top 1/3 of the field. Season winners will be determined using the following method: The points for each tournament are added up at the end of each season (Spring and Summer) to determine season winners. Only the best four tournament point scores will be used along with the season Major. 5

6 End of season awards will be presented to the overall winner, the most improved player, and most participators. Handicaps Day of Play and Major Tournaments Procedures Players will use 100% of her handicap adjusted for the. Sign-up Sign up for play using online tee times or by calling the pro shop. Any member intending to play should sign up no later than 5:00 pm on Friday. Tee times will be posted Sunday morning each week for the following day s play and will be available online and by phone from the Pro Shop. Any player deciding to play after the starting times have been posted or who misses her tee time will be fit in where there is a cancellation or will play in the last group. Cancellations should be made by calling the Pro Shop prior to 5:00 pm on the Sunday before the day of play. Rules of Play USGA Rules will be in effect with local rules set by the Tournament Director. USGA approved Range finders may be used for all play, including Monday Day of Play and Major Tournaments. Players should arrive at Blue Mash no less than thirty minutes before their tee time on the day of play. In order to compete in Monday Play events, each player will play with the group on the scheduled day and have an established handicap or temporary handicap based on a minimum of five scores. The Tournament Director will work with players who do not have a minimum of five scores. All players will play from the red tees. The total yardage will be 4,966, course rating of 68.7, and slope 120. Pace of Play: In order to ensure pace of play within USGA guidelines and using appropriate golf etiquette, players will play Ready Golf. Upon completion of play, scorecards must be signed and attested, and turned in to the Tournament Director or her representative. 6
