2 The 5 th Annual AICC Independents Cup Charity Golf Tournament is being held in conjunction with the AICC 2018 Spring Meeting, April 16-18, 2018 at the Sheraton Grand Wild Horse Pass Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. The scramble style tournament will be held on Tuesday, April 17 from 12:30 5:30 pm at the Whirlwind Golf Club located at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass Resort. A Networking Reception will follow the tournament from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. The golf format offers participants more networking opportunities and generates an atmosphere of fun, while raising money for great causes! Supporting a worthy cause This year, two of the charities we will be supporting are: Three Precious Miracles - Their mission is to support the families of Native American children who are displaced so they can provide a loving, caring and culturally sensitive home. J. Richard Troll Foundation - This fund, established to honor the memory of the late Mr. J. Richard Troll, provides scholarships for select college or university students majoring in packaging engineering or a related packaging field. Questions, Registration, Deadlines This year we will have golfers on two courses at the club, the Devil s Claw and Cattail, so we can take upwards of 192 golfers. All sponsorships will include both courses. To apply for a tournament sponsorship, complete the application form, then fax, mail, or it per the instructions on the form. 3 Sponsorship Opportunities AICC invites you to take advantage of these opportunities which will enhance your exposure at the event while supporting worthy causes. Major Sponsor - $12,500 The major sponsorships are the premier sponsorships at the golf tournament. The major sponsors have the opportunity to provide a golf item to all golfers. Such items can include anything that is not listed here as a sponsorship, such as: gym bags, coolers, etc. A minimum of 192 of each item will be required. Also includes: One complimentary Spring Meeting registration ($1650 value) One complimentary Tournament foursome registration. Since the tournament is at the hotel property, golfers will have the chance to shop throughout the week. 4 Closest to the Pin Contest Sponsorship - $2,500 This sponsorship includes the closest to the pin contest on one of the golf holes during the tournament. Also includes: Longest Drive Contest Sponsorship - $2,500 This sponsorship includes the longest drive contest on one of the golf holes during the tournament. Also includes: Listing as sponsor in golf and meeting electronic promotions and printed on-site Longest Putt Contest Sponsorship - $2,500 Sponsorship includes the longest putt contest on one hole during the tournament. The Longest Putt sponsorship also includes the following: Listing as sponsor in golf and meeting electronic promotions and printed On-site Beat the Pro Contest Sponsorship - $2,500 This sponsorship includes the beat the pro contest on one of the golf holes during the tournament. The Beat the Pro sponsorship also includes the following: Driving Range Sponsor - $1,500 The Driving Range Sponsors will sponsor the driving range at the golf course. The Driving Range sponsorship also includes the following: Event signage at the driving range Listing as sponsor in golf and meeting electronic promotions and printed On-site program guide and golf program Golf Hole Sponsors - $1,000 The Golf Hole Sponsors will sponsor one of the golf holes in the tournament. The Golf Hole sponsorship also includes the following: Event signage at the golf hole program guide and golf program Other Sponsored Golf Items (cost of item plus) If there are other golf items you would like to sponsor the cost is $2,500 plus the cost of the items for 192 golfers. Golf Brochure Printing Cost of Printing (no additional costs involved) Offers the opportunity to print the on-site informational brochure about the tournament that will be distributed at registration. Tournament Registration Single Golfer Registration... $375/per person * Foursome Golfer Registration... $1900/per foursome * * Registration includes all green and cart fees, driving range balls, tournament fees, lunch buffet, beverage cart, round-trip transportation, prizes and all taxes and gratuities. If you are not purchasing a foursome you will be paired with other team members by our golf committee. Rental Clubs:... $65 per set You may drop off personal golf clubs at the golf course prior to the tournament, or you can leave them at the bell stand and they will be taken to the golf course.
