Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the clubhouse. 2.7 Lockers The annual rent for lockers is currently 25. Club Administration will be able to advise availability. 3 Golf Etiquette Simply enjoy your game whilst being considerate to other players. 3.1 Consideration of Others Please adhere to your allotted tee-time. If you cannot commit to a time you have booked, please cancel your booking to free up tee-time for others to fill. 4

5 The player who has the "honour" should tee-off first and do so without delay, scoring their own card while playing partners tee off You should not talk, stand close or otherwise distract fellow players while they are taking their shots. Please do not behave in an unsporting manner, throw clubs or make unnecessary noise on the course. Be ready to play when it is your turn else let others play out-of-turn if they are ready but only if safe to do so (in advance of new 2018 ruling). Do not play until the group ahead is out of range. Where there is any risk of a stray ball causing injury to others, fore must be shouted to warn others. If there is any risk of out-of-bounds or a lost ball, please play a provisional. If your ball is lost and not easily found, signal the group behind to play through if they are waiting Do not wait the five minutes allowed under the "Rules of Golf" for ball searching, before doing so. Leave buggies, trolleys, caddy carts and bags at the exit point of the green and move swiftly to the next tee having completed the hole. Please leave the marking of scorecards until you reach the next tee Replace all divots and repair any pitch marks Please avoid the use of mobile telephones on the course and switch ring tones off. Keep moving as quickly as you are able whilst walking between shots. Sharing of clubs, bags and trolleys is not allowed, it slows play. Don t overdo practice swings. 3.2 Care of the Course Before leaving a bunker, make sure that you smooth over all holes and footprints with the rake. If you notice an unraked bunker please rake it to assist later players. Always replace divots on the fairways and repair pitch marks on putting surfaces. (If a pitch mark is repaired immediately it only takes 24 hours to recover. Leave it and it could take up to 15 days!). Buggies, trolleys and bags are not to be taken onto putting greens. Buggies and trolleys should not be taken on fringe areas between any greens and bunkers To avoid hole damage, please take care when removing and replacing flagsticks, do not tread on hole sides and under no circumstances should a ball be removed from the hole using a putter. For those who have difficulty bending, suckers are available to fit to putter handles to aid ball removal. To avoid spiking and furrows on the greens, do not slide or drag your feet or lean on your putter or flagstick whilst awaiting your turn. 5

6 Avoid practice swings on tees. Observe all notices regarding "Ground Under Repair" (GUR) and roped areas keeping to the designated paths, especially when using a buggy or trolley. Observe all notices regarding no entry to adjacent properties. In particular do not enter the fields on the right of the 3 rd fairway, or the recreation area to the right of the 4 th fairway. Avoid walking on worn areas even if this adds a few yards to your direct route. Follow instructions regarding movement of buggies, trolleys and yourself at all times. 3.3 Priority on the Course Two-ball matches take precedence over three and four-ball matches and should be invited to play through, although competition players have priority. You should ensure that you keep pace with the group in front of you at all times. If, however, you should fall behind by more than one clear hole, you must signal the group directly behind you to play through. Common sense should be applied to a single player wherever possible to let them play through. 3.4 Safety Shout "Fore" if your golf ball is in danger of hitting someone. If it does hit someone or you get hit you may wish you had personal golf insurance, but seriously you may wish to consider getting your own insurance. Make sure that no one is in a position to be struck by your club, ball or any other object like stones or twigs when making a stroke or practice swing. Do not stand in front or immediately behind anyone taking a stroke or practice swing. Stay in front (90 degrees to line of shot) or well back. Good golfers always respect the course and other golfers. Please note that there are first aid boxes in the office, professional shop and the greenkeepers hut. While on the subject of injury you should consider taking out personal golf insurance, but please check your home insurance first as there may be some cover there. 4 GOLF 4.1 Professional Services John Crawford is our PGA Professional, he runs the pro shop and provides the following services: Golf Lessons by appointment Club Hire Gents and ladies sets from leading manufacturers including shoes if required Trolley Hire - Pull and Electric versions 6

Please adhere to the rules and etiquette as explained prior. Ladies play from the red markers at all times. Whilst casual golf is normally played from yellow tees, it is allowed to play from the white tees should you so prefer. White tees are removed during the winter with all gents playing from yellow tees. Notices are displayed during inclement weather regarding the use of Buggies at the sole discretion of the Head Greenkeeper or deputy.
