Feherty s Troops First Foundation is pleased to announce it's 7th Annual Benefit Dinner and Golf Event will be held on Thursday, October 18 and Friday, October 19, 2018 at Oakmont Country Club. This unique and entertaining dinner event, hosted by David Feherty, will honor wounded veterans who deserve our support. Their lives and stories inspire us. They deserve recognition precisely because they don t ask for it. The night will feature some of Feherty s special guests, as well as a panel of warriors, whom will share their stories. Sally Wiggin will also return as the Mistress of Ceremonies. It is very important to note that since 2012, over $2,000,000 has been raised for Feherty s Troops First Foundation in the Pittsburgh area. More than 90% of every dollar raised goes directly to support (4) four primary initiatives: Leroy Petry Village of Honor - Housing to wounded veterans and their families Operation Proper Exit - Coordinating unique opportunities for service members to leave the battlefield on their own terms 24/7 Battle Buddies - Providing service dogs to assist warriors in everyday life Warrior Call - Establishing valuable connections among service members to give them a critical support network in an effort to combat the veteran suicide crisis Feherty s Troops First Foundation and wounded veterans inspire us, and through their actions, we are called to action.
