Her best tournament finish of her professional career came at the Kellogg-Keebler Classic where she tied for seventh and fired a career-low 207. Earlier that year at the Office Depot Championship, she carded a career-low 65, which remains a course record at the El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, Calif. As one of OU s top golfers, Audra Burks recorded four earned exempt status for the 2000 LPGA Tour after and had her best tournament finish, a tie for eighth, at the First Union Betsy King Classic later that year. 18 Team Awards BLUMENTHAL AWARD SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD The Blumenthal Award is named after Joan Blumenthal,the school s second head coach and the pioneer of OU women s golf. The award is presented to the team s most valuable player. The Sportsmanship Award, which is voted on by the team, is given to the player who exemplifies teamwork and camaraderie.
