Registration will be located just outside the golf shop beginning at 8:00 a.m. You are required to check in prior to your starting time. The 19th Hole will be open for food and beverage service beginning at 8:00 a.m. You may use the locker room, however, individual lockers are not available. The use of Distance Measuring Devices is permitted. Only brands of golf balls on the most current USGA List of Conforming Golf Balls may be used. The One-Ball Rule is in effect. It is a requirement that a player s clubs conform to the groove specifications provided in the Rules of Golf. See separate memo attached to this packet for specific details. Transportation is prohibited during the round. Players and caddies shall walk at all times during the stipulated round unless otherwise specified by the Committee. Pull/push carts are permitted. 3 PACE OF PLAY: EVACUATION PLAN: SPECTATORS: DRESS CODE: FOOTWEAR: QUALIFIER PLACES: PLAY-OFF: LOWEST SCORE: STARTING TIMES: CHAMPIONSHIP: Qualifying participants must play without undue delay and in accordance with guidelines established by the Committee that are included in this packet. In the event of a discontinuance of play during the qualifier, players must adhere to the evacuation plan distributed at the first tee. Spectators are allowed and encouraged. Per USGA guidelines, the use of golf carts for spectators is prohibited. Players and caddies must be neat in appearance with respect to clothing and personal grooming. The Committee in charge will decide whether this requirement has been met, and has authority to withdraw the entry of a player who does not comply. Fremont Golf Club is a spikeless club and, therefore, spiked shoes will not be allowed. Penalty for breach of the spikeless rule is disqualification. There are 24 entrants competing for 1 qualifier spot and 2 alternate spots. In the event of a tie for the last qualifying place, there will be a hole-by-hole play-off to determine place winners and alternates. Any announcements regarding the play-off will be made at the public scoreboard upon completion of the qualifying round. Silver medal, if a tie, duplicate medals will be awarded.
