Competitors may deliver in advance, pictures to the organizer by , for publicity and marketing purposes, berghall.anders@gmail.com. Team leaders must present a signed NA Authorization in Race office, when arrived. 6. INSURANCE UIM rule Insurance certificate in Finnish or in English must be presented when driver is entering. Insurance for third parties is also available at race office price 80. Foreign drivers from other EU or ETA country, must have a European Health Insurance Card, EHIC. 7. TRANSPORTATION No transportations to the Race area by organizer. Non-stop water transportation is available between pit-lane and start jetty for officials. 8. RACE OFFICE The Race Office is at pit area and open from Friday 19 th of August 13: PIT AREA - Pit area will be open from Friday 19 th of August 1pm, until the prize giving ceremony. - Organizer will point a place to the teams which is limited to a sized: 3m*6m/boat - Only one tent / Team is allowed on area. - No cars allowed on pit area. - On the pit area, every boat must use an absorbent carpet (UIM 703 ) - Every Team must have at least 2 kg fire extinguisher, in or nearby boat tent. - Smoking and alcohol are prohibited in pit area. - After race, own place in pit area must be cleaned. 10. RULES The race is to be held under the rules of UIM and the national rules of Finnish Sailing and Boating Association and special race regulations by organizer. Ages of the drivers, UIM rule Noise reductions, UIM rule BUOY FEE 200 / damaged buoy (fee must be paid before next heat, to the race office) 12. PUBLICITY ON THE BOATS Organizer reserve the right to fix one (1) own scrutineering stickers to all boats. The advertising of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages over 22%, is prohibited by law in Finland. 13. 3 Lohjan Purjehtijat ry SUNDELL RACE LOHJA TIME SCHEDULE See attachment 2: Time Schedule. 15. DRIVERS MEETING Drivers meetings will be held at Café Aurlahti, next to pit-area, Lohja, Finland 16. LAUNCHING All boats will be launched in water from ramp. 17. PRACTICE Practicing is allowed only by the time schedule. Only scrutineered boats can entry to the practice. 18. STARTING PROCEDURE Dead-engine start from a jetty alongside the race course as per UIM rule 307. Re-starts by the UIM rule 311. Only 1 start assistant is allowed / boat in classes GT15 GT30 and F RACE COURSE, HEATS 20. SCRUTINEERING The race course is in attachment 3. Max. number of boats on the course: classes GT15, GT30 and F4; 20 boats Starting order will be by according to the time trial, or if needed by qualifying heats. Following heats will by the rules of UIM. B-finals will be on Saturday. GT15 Will be driven by UIM rules. Four (4) heats, each including six (6) laps. Three best heats for each driver is taken to consideration in the final classification. Points according to the rules of UIM. A minimum of five (5) teams registered is required to open the race for the class. GT30 Will be driven by UIM rules. Four (4) heats, each including ten (10) laps. Three best heats for each driver is taken to consideration in the final classification. Points are given according to the rules of UIM. F4 Will be driven by UIM F4 rules. One (1) heat, each including twenty (20) laps. Points according to the rules of UIM. Download from A minimum of three (3) teams registered is required to open the race for the class. By the rules of UIM and NA. Organizer reserve the right to fix one (1) own sponsor stickers to all boats. 21. PROTESTS Protest fee is 80 euros. Refunded if the protest will be upheld. Time for a protest is one hour after posting of the results. 22. PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY Best three drivers will be awarded in all classes. 23. AWARDS Class GT30, competitors who will take three first places will be awarded with medals by UIM and cups by organizer. Other classes, competitors who will take three first places will be awarded cups.
