Date of event Venue Organisation The City of Stresa, in cooperation with ASD Cantiere Nautico Taroni (FIM Affiliated), authorized by the Federazione Italiana Motonautica (FIM), under the aegis of the UIM is organizing in Stresa, Italy: 2018 UIM XCAT World Championship Stresa Grand Prix of Italy, on 6 th 8 th July, 2018 The Race will take place at the City of Stresa, Maggiore Lake area, and will be valid as: Round 2 of 2018 UIM XCAT World Championship 2. Eligibility All competitors carrying a valid 2018 UIM XCAT Super License are eligible to compete for 2018 UIM XCAT World Championship. Race Secretariat and Race Administration Pre-Race headquarters for the event and co-ordination point for all race associate communication will be through: Ø Sebastiano Pellecchia Ø Mohhamed Al Sadi - sebastiano@x-cat.racing - mohammed@x-cat.racing 5. Rules and Regulations The races will be run under the current UIM Rules as applicable for XCAT, together with such other rules and amendments as may be issued within their jurisdiction, by the Italian National Authority and/or Race Committee in the Advance Notice and Race Instructions and/or Drivers Briefing and/or Race Bulletins. For any reason that may be considered necessary, the Race Committee reserve the right to change the event/race program as detailed in the Advance Notice and/or Race Instructions. 6. Documentation Any alteration to the registered crew members or other details on the entry list will be allowed up to Tuesday 5 th July 2018 before the Drivers Briefing at 19:30. After this date, any infringement to this rule may result in the minimum penalty fee of USD Logistical Information The Stresa Grand Prix of Italy Paddock will be open from Wednesday, 4 th July, for those who d like to access their boat and workshop; The Stresa Grand Prix of Italy Paddock will be closed Monday, 9 th July by am to give access to the logistic team to work on the movement of the containers and boats to the storage place. The Containers will enter to the Port to be shipped in China by July 11 th. 8. Special Conditions / Informations It is mandatory that all participating competitors bring their boats to the Paddocks Area by latest Thursday, 5 th July 2018 before Any late arrivals will liable to USD 500 fine and / or non-eligibility 4

5 to compete, established at the discretion of the Event Race Director. Prize Giving: Both drivers from each boat ranked in the top 3 overall after the race must appear at the prize- giving, as per the Time Table. Failure to that penalty: USD It is MANDATORY, as per UIM Rule and Italian NA Rule, that all participant, in all on water sessions will wear the Head & Neck Restraint under control of the Race Director / Technical Commissioner/s. Any infringement to the Rule will determine a Fine of USD 1000 and the DQ. As per the Italian Law, all personnel of each Team, Organization, Supplier, etc, have to be easly recognized by passes and have to be regularly accreditated at the Event Organiser Office. For these reasons it is request to all Teams to provide the FULL list of the accreditated crew and their picture, to be attached at the Preliminary Entry Form. Only these peoples will be entitled to access at the Paddock areas. As per the Regulation, ONLY 4 accesses to the Hospitality Area will be given to each participating and registered Boat. Any other extra access will be charged at the Team; cost will be communicated. 9. Dates and Times for Registration & Scrutineering It is provided for the pre-registration. The attached pre-registration form, must be completed by teams and sent by June 15 th, 2018 to the following address: Ø Sebastiano Pellecchia Ø Mohhamed Al Sadi - sebastiano@x-cat.racing - mohammed@x-cat.racing Registration will take place at the Race Office on Thursday 5 th July 2018, at the times indicated in the Race Time Table. The technical scrutineering starts on Thursday 5 th July 2018 at 12:00. All Technical Scrutineering will take place in the Paddock at the times specified in the Race Time Table. 10. Course Details The full Race Course will be made available to all competitors at Registration. 11. Prizes For Stresa Grand Prix of Italy GP (Round 2) there will be two different Prizes: Participation Fee & Prize Money, as described below. A Participation Fee of USD 120, in total, as Common Benefit, will be distributed equally and proportionally to each Registered Team, as regulated by the Entry Terms and Condition document. A Prize Money of USD 30, in total, as Sport Benefit, will be distributed on the basis of the combined results of Race 1 & Race 2, to the first 8 in the resulting Event Ranking. In the case of parity, the resulting Event Ranking for the assignment will give priority to the best times made during the Pole Position. 5

6 The Organizing Committee reserves the right to award additional prizes. Further details will be provided in the Race Instructions and/or in a Race Bulletin. 12. Insurance A Mandatory Third Party Drivers Liability Insurance cover for personal and material damage to the minimum value of./=, is make available from the Italian NA (FIM), all the NON Italian Drivers will be charged Euro 110,00. The Drivers costs will be deducted from the related Team Participation Fee. The UIM, FIM & Local Organizer shall not be held liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage, loss, expense, or injury incurred, sustained or suffered by the competitor on-land, or on-water, as a result of his participation in this event. The Local Organiser provide a Third Party Event Insurance for any damages, with the exclusion of the participating racing boats. Value will be announced. 13. Fuel Fuel can no longer be stored in containers on the race site. Teams are advised to take ONLY Official fuel provided by the LOC for their boats in specified area and timings at the Race Time Table. Failure to this rule will be fine up to USD 1000 and/or may incur disqualification. Fuel for 2018 UIM XCAT World Championship, Round 2 Stresa Grand Prix of Italy GP will be 98 Oct. Price per litre will be announced. 14. Hotels Each Team is entitled to N. 3 hotel rooms, B/B, for 4 nights each. The rooms will be booked according to the information in the Event Entry Form attached to this document.
