BISE BAROQUE - Has pleased in three of her last four and although at a higher level here could still get a look in 2. ARABOLE DU VARLET - One of the least productive horses in the field. Expectations exceeding reality 3. APHARENA DU KISS - Often shows a lack of discipline but caught the eye at Nantes on Thursday and backs up with a realistic chance of going close 4. BOMBE DE CAILLONS - Has done nothing of note in either code for some time and can be ruled out 5. BALI DU POUET DOUX - Has established credentials in the discipline. Drops back in class after a modest effort in a Class C but front shoes off this time and

2 should figure prominently 6. BALADE DANOVER - Made her ridden debut in a G.I at last February. Tends to show more in the amateur division under harness and chances limited 7. BAHIA JOSSELYN - Unreliable mare that was sanctioned on her lone ridden outing and will endear herself to few 8. AMBIANCE DU LOISIR - Useful in this branch of the game and makes her return to Vincennes with a decent hand to play 9. ACTRICE REVEE - Complicated but useful sort under harness. Currently in form and makes her first foray into the ridden code with legitimate ambition 10. BISE D'OLITRO - Sanctioned in both appearances under the saddle but is well-regarded and in this modest bunch could find herself playing a leading role (9) ACTRICE REVEE is a difficult sort at the best of times but she is not without merit and if ability transitions could get straight off the mark in this code. (10) BISE D'OLITRO's two starts under the saddle came to nothing however in this motley crew she could well play an active role. (5) BALI DU POUET DOUX acquits herself competitively for the most part and with front shoes off this time can put her recent flop behind her. (3) APHARENA DU KISS left a good impression at Nantes three days ago and connections confident she can maintain form. (9) ACTRICE REVEE - (10) BISE D'OLITRO - (5) BALI DU POUET DOUX - (3) APHARENA DU KISS

3 Race 2 1. ECUME DES LOUANGES - Has looked very ordinary since the autumn and appears to have nothing to offer 2. ERABELLA MADRIK - Solid in both return starts but did not appreciate being unshod last time. Shoes on here but will still have a lot to find 3. ETERNELLE DELO - Erratic but has ample ability. Good second in a Class A over the short course last time but unlikely to be as effective on the long track 4. ELSA DU POMMEREUX - Well-regarded filly that has just once made the frame this winter but races unshod all four for the first time and should show another side to herself 5. ESMONDO - Hardy sort that finished a close third to (9) EMPEREUR THE BEST last month. Oddly below-par next time but unshod behind this time and can make amends 6. ESOS - Solid for much of the autumn but never at his ease here last month. First time barefoot and expected to finish in the mix 7. EZREAL JIEL - Good dual-purpose colt but has shown more under the saddle of late and can be passed over 8. EZIO JOSSELYN - Unplaced in his last two at a higher level but drops back to a more reasonable class and could even make the frame 9. EMPEREUR THE BEST - Delicate but has considerable talent. Made a fine comeback to finish second in a G.III mid-december. Hind shoes off for the first time and if applied could open his annual account 10. ELVIS MADRIK - Superb campaigner that has lost nothing since the autumn break. Won a G.III early December before missing out by little over course and distance last Monday and can impose this time (10) ELVIS MADRIK won a G.III last month before going down by little over track and trip on Monday and with hind shoes off again can have his way. That said (9) EMPEREUR THE BEST made a fine re-entry mid-december to set his personal best and with hind shoes off for the first time looks dangerous. The somewhat erratic (4) ELSA DU POMMEREUX goes barefoot for the occasion and could well give the boys something to consider. (8) EZIO JOSSELYN drops back in class and can challenge for a place in the frame. (10) ELVIS MADRIK - (9) EMPEREUR THE BEST - (4) ELSA DU

5 Race 3 1. DREHA DE VANDEL - Still a maiden from 30 starts and no realistic chance of changing that status any time soon 2. DIVINE DE L'ITON - Fine mare that was disqualified on her way to victory here late December but if applied can make amends 3. DATCHA GIRL - Currently enjoying a decent run of form. Fourth in the race of reference and should again be thereabouts 4. DRUSENHEIM - Looked solid in first three before failing to fire in the race of reference but should be afforded a second chance 5. DAISY THORIS - Has been struggling with form for a considerable period and chances slim at best 6. DEESSE DE JULLOU - Pleased twice on the short course before being trounced here late December and needs to show marked improvement 7. DIGITALE - Gave a surprisingly good account over 2700m here late last month and in similar form should again figure prominently 8. DELPHES D'ARIANE - Very hard to knock in this discipline. Was quickly sanctioned last time but Thomain in the saddle on this occasion and should rehabilitate herself 9. DOUCE ILLUSION - Completely off the boil since winning at Reims four months ago and will have few takers 10. DIDINE DU DIGEON - Delicate but talented type that picked up the win after (2) DIVINE DE L'ITON lost her action. Has shoes back on and can redeem herself for her recent sanction 11. DRAGA DU MANS - Has ability but not as productive since rising in category. Unplaced last time and will need to find more 12. DONZELLE D'EPONA - Modest individual that has done nothing of note for some time and can be written off After two encouraging re-entry runs (2) DIVINE DE L'ITON would have won over longer here last month had she not lost her action and still looks the pick of the field. (10) DIDINE DU DIGEON won by default that day but is a good sort in her own right and should finish close provided she can maintain stride. (7) DIGITALE pulled off something of a coup here late December and will not be available at 76-1 this time around. The talented (8) DELPHES D'ARIANE was disqualified on that occasion but the presence of David Thomain in the saddle this time could change all that.

7 Race 4 1. FLOWER BY MAGALOU - Sanctioned more often than not and although not devoid of ability is still hard to back 2. FIREFLY - Well-regarded individual that was unlucky not to win a Class C over course and distance earlier in the month but still has more to find 3. FLEUR DE LYS DELO - Moderate trotter that has not done enough to be considered any sort of threat 4. FAMILLE ROYALE - Has looked a decent filly so far. Won a Class C in good order here last month but faces a significantly tougher test on this occasion 5. FRENCH DARLING - Handy sort but not the most productive when stepped up in class and can be passed over 6. FIORELLA DE TED - Good third in the G.III Prix Vouraise but below-par next time and must raise her game 7. FANINA DES RACQUES - Got off the mark late November before trotting fourth in the Une De Mai and a minor place chance at best this time 8. FORCE DU CHENE - Useful type but disappointing in last two group races and unlikely to influence the outcome 9. FANTASTIC LIFE - Has taken particularly well to Vincennes conditions. Has earned the right to line up here and should acquit herself well 10. FULL OPTION - Just one blip on her formsheet to date. Third to (13) FOLELLI in the Une de Mai and will garner support 11. FEND LA BISE - Consistently productive sort that finished a close second to (13) FOLELLI in the race of reference and should again figure prominently 12. FORTALEZA - Good class of filly that regularly trots in behind (14) FLY WITH US and once again looks second best 13. FOLELLI - Smart filly that beat a number of others here to win the G.II Prix Une de Mai three weeks ago and once again looks competitively well in 14. FLY WITH US - Indisputable leader of her generation with five straight wins and unlikely to be bettered here (14) FLY WITH US won all five of her races last year with a certain flair. She benefits from a short breather and is head and shoulders above her rivals. The opposition should be spearheaded by (12) FORTALEZA who regularly finishes bridesmaid to the favourite. (13) FOLELLI raced particularly well to land the G.II Prix Une de Mai three weeks ago holding off the consistent (11) FEND LA BISE

8 however the latter may just have her measure on this occasion. (14) FLY WITH US - (12) FORTALEZA - (11) FEND LA BISE - (13) FOLELLI

9 Race 5 1. BASIC INSTINCT - Has hardly set a foot wrong since the autumn. Respectable sixth to (13) BON JENILOU last time and will have his supporters 2. BEST HAUFOR - Has looked a different horse in the provinces since his return to competition but faces a much stiffer test this time 3. BARONNE VA BENE - Pleased in three of last four and latterly in an amateur event here but in this company will have too much to do 4. BEATNIK TURGOT - Consistently productive individual and currently in good shape but at this level of competition will have his work cut out 5. BON GRAIN TIVOLI - Useful but not always the most reliable. Hind shoes off for the occasion though and not to be entirely ruled out 6. BIKINI - Respectable on a good day but has placed just once from five this term and no threat 7. BRISE DU COUDOU - Put on quite the show here on Christmas day but stays shod this time and others preferred 8. BALZAC DU CHATELET - Fine trotter and confirmed under these conditions but unraced since May and will need the outing 9. BAYOKOS ATOUT - Won three of the last five races he has finished. Fine second in a tough event late last month and with application can go close 10. BOHEME DU JUILLE - Left a decent impression in the race of reference and in similar form will be able to play a small role 11. BLACK RAIN - Has shown a lot more in recent weeks. Gave a fine account over shorter here two weeks ago and from the front line can put on another good show 12. BACCARAT DES PRES - Sprang something of a surprise when third over longer at Nantes late December. Goes barefoot this time but will struggle to make the first five 13. BON JENILOU - Highly consistent type that has made the frame in last ten he has finished. Good third in a similar event two weeks ago and is not incapable of imposing this time 14. BANCO BOY - Good sort in the other branch of the business but little chance of making any impact this time 15. BALZAC DE SOUVIGNE - Gradually getting back in the game. Was not disgraced here last weekend and could finish in the mix on this occasion 16. BORA BORA JIEL - Hardy mare when she can maintain stride. Breaks from the back here but with application can return to winning ways

10 17. BARRIO DE LOU - Serious type that won five from six before being sent for a spell. Shod for his comeback though and others preferred 18. BORA FLIGNY - Decent dual-purpose mare that recently encouraged under the saddle but the extra 25m will do her no favours (16) BORA BORA JIEL is undeniably talented but can prove a handful. Her condition is not in doubt and although breaking from the rear could well trot off with the silverware. She will however be directly opposed by the in-form (13) BON JENILOU who impressed in a similar event two weeks ago and the 25m advantage will stand him in good stead. (15) BALZAC DE SOUVIGNE was unplaced that day but appears to be nearing his best and looks a decent place chance this time around. (11) BLACK RAIN left a good impression over shorter here last time and in similar form will have a say. (5) BON GRAIN TIVOLI reassured earlier in the month and will also have his chances. (16) BORA BORA JIEL - (13) BON JENILOU - (15) BALZAC DE SOUVIGNE - (11) BLACK RAIN - (5) BON GRAIN TIVOLI

11 Race 6 1. TAKETHEM - Recently won a tough Class C in style over course and distance but has no references at this level and is unlikely to spring any surprises 2. BLOOMA D'HERIPRE - Although having twice acquitted herself well under these conditions lately she is better over shorter and in this class of race will have her work cut out 3. TREASURE KRONOS - Winner of the Criterium Continental just over twelve months ago. Has enjoyed mixed fortunes since. Put in a fine second to Readly Express in the Prix Tenor de Baune three weeks ago though and will have her chances 4. CALL ME KEEPER - Sixth in the Prix d Amerique twelve months ago. Has been seen out just twice since and latterly suffered a heavy fall in a conditioning race. It is imperative he makes the frame this time but it looks a stiff test 5. BRIAC DARK - Winner of this contest in 2017 but has run little since. Earned his berth for the big race when a valiant Prix de Bourgogne third at odds of 50/1. Still room for improvement and he can be expected to give the Belgique a good go 6. CHARLY DU NOYER - Second of Allaire s runners here. Like stablemate Bird Parker he will not be under any great pressure and with shoes on can be regarded an outsider of note 7. CARAT WILLIAMS - Best French horse of his generation however he has still not earned his ticket to the Prix d Amerique. He has immense talent but must still prove himself again older horses 8. BOOSTER WINNER - Much better horse racing over short trips. Has not won since September 2015 and in this company has no realistic chance 9. VALKO JENILAT - Turned a corner in Earned his ticket with success in the Prix de Bretagne and will need the race following his Prix du Bourbonnais sanction. Goes shod this time and unlikely to have his capacity tested 10. READLY EXPRESS - High-class Swedish trotter with an enviable strike rate. Never had to dip into reserves in Prix Tenor de Baune on Christmas eve and is now unbeaten from two at Vincennes. Bold Eagle's principal rival here 11. BELINA JOSSELYN - Must finish in the first three in order to qualify. Found somewhat wanting in her preps and it would be disappointing if last year s Prix d Amerique runner-up were not afforded a second chance 12. LIONEL - Fine Scandinavian trotter that was particularly unfortunate in Prix de Bourgogne and would have finished in the frame had he not endured problems along the way. With better luck in running he should put on a good show 13. WILD HONEY - Third in this race in 2017 and has seen some highs and lows

12 since. Did not have the best of trips in the Prix du Bourbonnais swerving Prix de Bourgogne she will need to reassure and after 14. BIRD PARKER - Assured a berth after beating Bold Eagle in Prix du Bourbonnais. Unlikely to be given a hard race and the run will help to put the finishing touches on his preparation for the last Sunday in January 15. BOLD EAGLE - Winner of this race two years ago. Defeated in his last three racecourse appearances and Guarato out to set the record straight ahead of his principal objective. Up against some very good horses again but can still win this Although runner-up in both preps (15) BOLD EAGLE is still considered the best horse in Europe and is as versatile as they come. He faces another stiff test here against the dynamic (10) READLY EXPRESS who won the Tenor de Baune with ease but should still come off best. (11) BELINA JOSSELYN stays shod but Bazire still believes she can make the first three. (7) CARAT WILLIAMS is under similar pressure and while he did not find the going easy in the Bourbonnais he should nonetheless show improvement. (5) BRIAC DARK did everything asked of him in the Bourgogne and should again acquit himself competitively. (15) BOLD EAGLE - (10) READLY EXPRESS - (11) BELINA JOSSELYN - (7) CARAT WILLIAMS - (5) BRIAC DARK - (12) LIONEL - (3) TREASURE KRONOS - (4) CALL ME KEEPER

13 Race 7 1. UNGARO D'EVA - Won four from five before being sent for a spell. Took little time getting back to business and after winning a Class A smartly last time should be able to double his money 2. APRION - Has looked very ordinary this term and needs to show marked improvement 3. ALDERMAN - Previously a good sort but recently returned from a long layoff and will struggle to make his mark 4. VENEZIA DE MAI - Has not been the most productive since returning early autumn but is confirmed under these conditions. Well-placed behind the car and with shoes off looks an interesting prospect 5. VALSE MIKA - In the first five in three of last four. Below-par last time but benefits from a decent draw and can get a look in 6. UPPERCUT ORANGE - Has finished no closer than 6th in his last eight starts and not a priority 7. ARTHURO BOY - Received a resounding thumbs-up for his fourth place to (1) UNGARO D'EVA last time but under these conditions is unlikely to repeat 8. VERTIGE DE CHENU - Regularly gives a good account of himself but in much better company here and not an obvious choice 9. VOELAND - Regularly acquits himself well when unshod. Won over longer at Cagnes last month and despite the wide draw must be worth some consideration 10. UN CHER AMI - Has done nothing but improve of late. Won a tough event over course and distance last weekend and although drawn on the second line this time should still acquit himself competitively 11. AND DE SAINT PREST - Respectable trotter that consistently gives his best. Is handy over the distance and worth a second look 12. ARIUS DU DOUET - Delicate but has talent in spades and should be able to go close if he can get off on the right foot 13. VIF D'OR DU POLI - Last made the frame two years ago and will have nothing to say for himself 14. ULTRA DU GADE - Blows hot and cold but a repeat of his penultimate effort here would see him in the mix at the finish 15. UPMAN - Nothing to like on his formsheet for some time and can be ruled out 16. URZO DU CAP VERT - Very modest individual under harness and has no realistic chance 17. APPRENTI SORCIER - Has raced little over past two years. Made a modest

14 comeback on Tuesday but is proven over track and trip and should not be written off 18. VALEA MIP - Took a short breather following a clinker here late November. Should appreciate the car start and despite the draw could finish close (1) UNGARO D'EVA is still going strong aged ten. She steamed up in a tough CLass A over longer here on just her second start back and from the inside line can double up. The tricky (12) ARIUS DU DOUET was sanctioned that day but if applied will be able to put on the pressure. (18) VALEA MIP has hardly been blessed with an ideal draw but has had time to freshen up and on good behaviour should give a competitive account. (14) ULTRA DU GADE is not always the most dependable but can go close if he can reproduce his penultimate performance. (10) UN CHER AMI has swept back into form recently and can pick up a cheque. (1) UNGARO D'EVA - (12) ARIUS DU DOUET - (18) VALEA MIP - (14) ULTRA DU GADE - (10) UN CHER AMI

15 Race 8 1. SILVERADO LUX - Pleased over longer here mid-december before being sanctioned in a G.III next time. Is reunited with Derieux here and should not be written off 2. REINE DU ZACK - Moderate type making her debut in the specialty. Has a top jockey on board but chances still limited 3. AVENTURIER CEHERE - Erratic type that won a Class B early December but failed to confirm next time. Hind shoes off for the occasion but still not an obvious choice 4. EL CATWALK - Made a good ridden debut when fourth to (11) VALSE DE REVE three weeks ago but never at his ease in the G.II Prix du Calvados last weekend. Abrivard in the saddle this time and should make amends 5. VINCI PIERJI - Can trot when he can keep his action together but latest efforts insufficient to warrant much support 6. TELL ME NO LIES - Respectable in this branch of the game. Trotted fifth in a Class B last time and although stepping up in category should still acquit himself honourably 7. A NOUS TROIS - Looked very ordinary recently on first start under the saddle for over two years and is unlikely to shake things up 8. AMERICAINE - Has made good progress recently. Came third in the G.III Prix Yvonnick Bodin before imposing in style in a Class B and should logically pick up another cheque 9. VAQUERO DU MONT - Has so far failed to recapture his summer form. Came fifth at 63-1 in the race of reference though and will have his supporters 10. VRAI VOYOU - Not the most reliable of horses but finished runner-up to (12) ARLINGTON DREAM a fortnight ago and in similar form can again make his presence felt 11. VALSE DE REVE - Turned a corner last month with a G.III second followed by a similar placing in the G.II Prix Jules Lemonnier ten days later. On the inner track this time and looks a player 12. ARLINGTON DREAM - High-class trotter but has a capricious nature. Got back down to business with an authoritative G.III Prix Yvonnick Bodin victory two weeks ago and if behaved should have this in the bag The classy but complicated (12) ARLINGTON DREAM won in fine fashion on his first ridden start since the spell and in order to repeat will just have to keep his action together. He can nonetheless expect some resistance from short-trip

16 specialist (11) VALSE DE REVE who put in a fine effort to finish second in the G.II Prix Jules Lemonnier. (4) EL CATWALK trotted a good fourth that day and can also make her presence felt. (10) VRAI VOYOU finished a beaten second to the favourite late last month and in similar form can pick up a stake. (12) ARLINGTON DREAM - (11) VALSE DE REVE - (4) EL CATWALK - (10) VRAI VOYOU

17 Race 9 1. DIVINE EMERAUDE - Has done nothing of note since winning a claimer here early October and chances limited 2. DAZZLE JET - Good consistent mare that always gives her best and from the 2-spot looks competitively well in 3. DAYTONA DODVILLE - Handy mare with a plum spot in front but stays shod and others preferred this time 4. DAYLIGHT - Has been in fine form during the meeting. Drops back in trip and is ideally-positioned to open her 2018 account 5. DIVINE MAJYC - Twice a winner over the distance here this winter and latterly on the outer course. Moves up a category but has a good spot behind the car and can justifiably expect significant support 6. DANSEUSE FOR EVER - Nothing to like on her formsheet for some time and unlikely to shake things up first start back 7. DAISY PAULOIS - Has three races under her belt. Is barefoot for the occasion and looks a respectable place chance 8. DUNE D'AVIGNERE - Tends to show more in the claiming division and will have nothing to offer 9. DEEVA DEVOL - Got back down to business over 2100m on the outer course last month. Comes here fresh and can again go close 10. DYNAMIQUE D'AM - Finished a reassuringly close second to (9) DEEVA DEVOL here last month. Not ideally placed on the second line but should still make her presence felt 11. DEUX ETOILES GEDE - Delicate type and in form but sanctioned in last two and not easy to trust 12. DIGITALE PRIOR - Kicked the winter meeting off successfully but not as productive since and can be ruled out 13. DIVINE DU BOIS - Dependability not her strong suit and will need to improve on latest effort 14. DORA LES JARRIAIS - Won courageously over longer here late last month but races shod this time and not a priority 15. DIABLESSE DU LOGIS - Moderate sort that has never finished in the frame under harness here and is unlikely to do so this time either 16. DIVA FERFAY - Useful on a good day. Caught the eye here last time in spite of the sanction but the draw will not help her plight

18 After some solid efforts here this meeting (4) DAYLIGHT drops back in trip and with hind shoes off again can make the most of the 4-spot behind the car. (5) DIVINE MAJYC is also well placed and has twice won over the distance in recent months. (9) DEEVA DEVOL can prove a handful but her latest distance win on the outer track will have endeared her to many. The useful (7) DAISY PAULOIS goes barefoot for the first time this term and can play a minor part. (2) DAZZLE JET is presently in good shape and cannot be discounted. (4) DAYLIGHT - (5) DIVINE MAJYC - (9) DEEVA DEVOL - (7) DAISY PAULOIS - (2) DAZZLE JET

19 Race ETOILE DE MER - Respectable so far but up against significantly better horses here and chances limited 2. ELUE DU GADE - Encouraged in both appearances over track and trip but unseen since September and not a priority 3. ELITE DARLING - Can prove tricky but still has ample talent. Steps back up in trip with hind shoes off for the first time and can play a leading role 4. EXTASE DU BOUFFEY - Regularly shows a lack of discipline and while not without merit will have too much to do here 5. EASY DE BEAULIEU - Has been acquitting herself well of late. Went close to (11) EVA DES CHARMES last time and will have her supporters 6. EVORA - Got the meeting off to a good start but unplaced in last two. Raffin has kept faith and the new shoeing formula could prove her salvation 7. ESPERANCE - Kicked her career off nicely but struggled before the break. Unseen for 3.5 months and will need the race 8. EGERIE DE BANNES - Beginning to show improvement. Won here early December and was full of running last time when sanctioned and should not be overlooked 9. ESCALE SAUTREUIL - Has been very hard to fault to date. Unlucky over shorter here on Christmas eve and with a better trip could get a look in 10. EGIDA SOMOLLI - Regularly in the thick of things and is confirmed under these conditions. Steps up in class and could just make the first five 11. EVA DES CHARMES - Scored first time back over shorter here before coming second on the outer course. Hind shoes off again and one to note 12. EUREKA DE TILLARD - Has done nothing but improve since her July debut. Returns fresh from a spell and looks a respectable place chance first time at Vincennes 13. EASY IS BACK - Delicate but otherwise very rewarding. In the frame in her last two and returning to the inner track can only work in her favour 14. ELISKA BERRY - Undeniably talented but struggling with stride problems. First time barefoot though and should redeem herself 15. EMOTIONLESS - Good class of horse that looked solid last time over the distance. Drops back in class after an encouraging run in better company and can pick up the win

20 (15) EMOTIONLESS has a very good entry here in terms of earnings and considering how well she has performed of late looks the one to beat. She can expect to encounter resistance though from (3) ELITE DARLING who goes barefoot for her return to a more suitable distance. (13) EASY IS BACK is indeed easy to back after two solid efforts at the venue and should give another fine account. (11) EVA DES CHARMES faces her first test over this trip but given her form should not be unduly troubled. (15) EMOTIONLESS - (3) ELITE DARLING - (13) EASY IS BACK - (11) EVA DES CHARMES

CHERRY LOVE JAM - Fit Barefoot and in good form lately. Should be the one to beat in this line-up 2. CATY DES GENIEVRES - Has been trying Mounted races recently without success. Likes this track. Might place 3. CHAMAR D'ICI - Well tried without winning in Returns from a brealk and could need this run 4. CYBELE D'HERMES - Won a race at Vichy in June but has been struggling since then. Others preferred 5. BIJOU DE SALVI - Returns from a break and does need to find a few lengths to win this race 6. BRISE DES ULMES - 36 runs without a win and is unlikely to win this race either.
