Paolangeli; 6 - Drawing Away Stable; 3 - Carl Lizza Racing Stables, LLC; ARCHUMYBABY came away without apparent mishap, sat looosely pocketed keeping an eye on the front runners, themselves side by side but well reserved, picked up interest when asked coming to the five-sixteenths marker and proceeded to get angled to the outside, spun into the stretch under a drive, began the final furlong towards path six, closed in in a steadfast manner, bested SPIRIT LETS HEARIT in the last seventy yards. SPIRIT LETS HEARIT bullish after coming out of the starting gate, charged to the front, despite getting bumped solidly from the both sides, cut over to the inside route, showed the way, placed to a firm hold by the pilot, attended by VERDANT PASTURES to the outside, well rated too, continued along under the same set up for three-quarters, was put to encouragement stepping into the stretch, resulting in almost instantaneously shifting outward and into the three path, began to edge away from the nemesis, departed the eighth pole with the winner now lurking a danger for the first time, came outward under some left side stick work prior to engaging that opponent, was out-fought in the last strides and had to settle for the place. PEACHES AND SPICE was devoid of any semblence of speed saving ground for six furlongs, sprang to life approaching the quarter pole, went outward and into the five path soon afterwards, straightened away, flashed good, but belated energy securing the show. VERDANT PASTURES bumped soundly with the second place fnisher right after the start, went on to attain a prominent position, sparred two wide for command for six furlongs, went four wde into the lane, moving wider at that juncture in conjunction with the nemesis, failed to respond when set down and gave way. UNBRIDLEDADVENTURE took up the chase from the two path and made no impact. CHA CHA HEELS bumped hard in the shadow of the gate, swung two wide into the backstrech after riding the rail on the opening bend, never made it a contending position. Peter and Johnson, Jonathan; 6 - Island Wind Racing; 1 - Henning, Dan and Henning, Michael A.; PICTURE DAY settled into midpack after the start, sat within range from the two path, was put to a stronger ride spinning four wide into the stretch, kicked into her best stride after settlling in, proved best after an abbreviated duel with MISS AMALITA leaving the sixteenth pole and kept clear. HOLD ON MOMMA lost her footing springing from the starting gate, got sent over to the inside route, tracked the action from the pocket, got asked for more at the three-eighths pole, but as it turned out to be, only fleetingly, pilot induced to switch back to a firmer grip about a sixteenth later, idled behind some rivals during the last few jumps of the run around the bend, got re-roused inching her way to the outside stepping into the stretch, managed to stay within striking distance of the front runners, put mainly to a hand ride, but yet again idling behind others due to lacking the clearest of sailing, angled sharply to the outsde and into optimal racing room with approximately a sixteenth remaining, flashed strong interest thereafter garnering the place. MISS AMALITA underwent a three wide pursuit, fought her way to a slim lead after making it into the stretch, failed to shake free, getting collared first by the winner and then by HOLD ON MOMMA leaving the sixteenth pole. JEMMABELLE quickly guided over to the rail, mustered up a mild response to claim the last major check. SABRINA BALLERINA established control in short order, cut the pace taking the inside route, came under heavy pressure as the half was being completed, was in the vicinity of the three-sixteenths marker before getting turned loose, got overhauled after a few more strides and weakened. DEAN'S TICKET prompted the pace from the two path for a half and gave way. MADAME BARBARIAN travelled two wide for most of the opening half, got fanned out into path four during the initial portion of the stretch to no avail.

BETWEEN THE LINES secured the pocket in short order, was put to a snug hold by the rider, appearing keen in the run leading up to and then past the half mile pole, stayed within striking distance of the winner, cut the corner into the lane, gained enough room to attempt to launch a rally of his own soon afterwards on a freshly-created opening along the rail corridor and was given its cue, finished with determination in the last eighth only to be denied by an opponent up to the task at hand. KING OF ANYTHING was sent into the two path proceeding along the backstretch, responded when let out a notch out-racing DAD'Z LAUGH to path three approaching the five-sixteenths marker, was in the same one entering the stretch, rallied willingly to earn the show, then was reported after the race to have bled. OLD UPSTART broke sharply to the outside, was corrected but not before solid contact with DAD'Z LAUGH, went about the turn two to three wide, fanned out int the five path during the initial portion of the stretch, had no rally once straightened away. DAD'Z LAUGH bumped hard from both sides at the start, raced from off the inside throuighout, began the run around the bend from the three path, lost position to KING OF ANYTHING at the five-sixteenths pole, commenced the stretch four wide and failed to put together a kick. ROCKFORD bumped soundly with DAD'Z LAUGH right after the start, went on to procure a forward position, stalked the pacesetter from the two path, undertook the task from between opponents and being roused by the five-sixteenths marker, kept it up a little while longer before giving way.

STORM PETREL broke sharply and retained the advantage, cut over to the inside, was lightly hand ridden racing side by side with DOUKAS, began edge away after going a half, spun into the lane appearing to hold its largest lead at any time, was put to a drive, shifted almost immediately afterwards into the two path, had the winner close in, drifted out a couple of paths and then, after a solitary hard shot from the left side, a third one, taking the top one along for a short ride, failed to re-claim the lead after relinquishing. FLICK OF AN EYE saved ground, was in hand briefly waiting behind rivals as six furlongs was being reached, angled three wide into the stretch and was put to a ride, got checked when squeezed by the top twosome with under a sixteenth to go, held on well for the show award, asked but nowhere near as vigorously as before the previously-described occurrence. STROKE PLAY strung out three wide on the first turn, managed to make its way closer to the inside, scurried into contention with a sustained run towards the inside on the second bend, angled four wide into the stretch, kept up the momentum to midlane before flattening out. SPA TOWN PARADE three wide on each turn, was fanned out into path six from upper to midstretch, lacked the needed late response. LOYAL HEART pulled off an opponent at the break, went on to save ground to no avail. ROMAN REIGN brushed a few times with NATALIE VICTORIA right after the start, was between rivals taking the two path on the clubhouse bend, remained in midpack for six furlongs and made no impact. DOUKAS sparred for command from the two path for six furlongs and gave way. NATALIE VICTORIA made light contact several times in rapid succession with ROMAN REIGN at the break, showed no lasting from said brushes and went on to secure a forward position, raced three wide on both turns and folded after completing three-quarters.

MY EKATI CAT initiated a mild bump with the winner after coming in slightly at the start, took up position in midpack, was parked out four to five wide, the widest of all on the turn, commenced the stretch still at a considerable distance from off the rail, got hooked up a duel with the pacesetter departing the furlong grounds, forged to the front with approximately a sixteenth to go, got overtaken by the winnner but held for the place. JEANJEANNIE disputed the pace from the inside, was more towards the two path after spinning into the stretch, got collared in the vicinity of the sixteenth pole and weakened. NAUTI BELLE remained along the rail after the start, had the rider ask for a response halfway on the turn, gradually made its way into path four from upper to midstretch, lacked a crisp late response.
