There are always alert pairs of eyes and ears amongst them. When you manage to actually do so, a hunter s feeling of success is absolute If your goal is to enjoy the greatest amount of hunting experiences from the lowest possible amount of money, then stalking hinds and calves/lambs in the autumnal forests of Poland could be a really good bet for the perfect hunting tour. You can enjoy a lot more hunting for your money, and you will even have the opportunity to buy the venison to take home with you at a very reasonable price. This will add another dimension to you hunting, and you will be able to serve the results of your hard work to your guests! 3 The hunt usually takes the form of stalking or lying in wait on one of the towers that have been optimally placed in each district, with regard to the deer s behavioural patterns. You will go out hunting twice a day, once in the early morning starting before dawn, and again in the late afternoon/evening during the hours around sunset. Mangy hunters often regularly take part in hind stalking with a couple of good comrades. This makes a good tradition, which will help polish your hunting skills at a very reasonable price! Page 3

4 ACCOMMODATION ACCOMMODATION Accommodation - Ladek Zdroj Accommodation is provided on the first floor of a family owned restaurant - owned by the wife of the former gamekeeper Tadeusz. It is a small but very charming restaurant with good guest rooms - located in the lovely surroundings of the hunting district. Depending on the time of year, this area can be popular with tourists, especially during the winter when thousands of skiers come to the region. But none of this has any impact on the hunting, which takes place well away from the tourist areas. There is both WiFi and mobile phone coverage here. Page 4

5 PARTNER PARTNER RDLP Wroclaw The Regional Direction of State Forests in Wroc?aw the Regionalna Dyrekcja Lasów Panstwowych we Wroc?awiu, or in everyday speech the RDLP Wroc?aw - is our longest standing partner in Poland. We have been sending hunters to the districts managed by RDLP Wroclaw since 1978, when we used one of the districts. Now we use a total of 11 state owned districts, of which we have long term contracts with 6 of the very best. On the rest (= 22) of their total of 33 districts, the hunting is let out to various Polish hunting associations. normally provided in the hunting district itself and not in a hotel in town. In this way our customers can enjoy a total experience. The game is usually taken back to your accommodation so your hunting companions can join the celebrations. 6 HUNTING HUNTING AREA AREA Ladek Zdroj The Ladek Zdroj state hunting district lies in the Sudety mountains in the south western corner of Poland, at the border with Czech Republic. The district covers a total of 11,428 ha. of which 9,323 ha. are forest, while the remaining 2,105 ha. consists of farmland and meadow. The forest is predominately coniferous. The Sudety are gentle, forest clad mountains, largely covered with tall fir trees. The forest floor has a rich vegetation of grasses and ferns. Ladek Zdroj has over 75 high seats/stands as well as 20 feeding places. It is also possible to carry out an exciting hunt from a horse drawn wagon, provided you book it in advance. Up to 6 hunters can be taken at a time. Ladek Zdroj is 300km from the border crossing at Forst/Olszyna, 90 km from Walbrzych, which is the closest major town, and 125km from Wroclaw,- the closest international airport. The district has roe deer, red deer and wild boar, but it is red deer that is the most important game species. Currently only a few roe bucks are shot here. Around 160 head of red deer are shot here during the hunting season, - 40 of which are stags - most of which have a trophy weigh of between 3.5-5kg. During the last years the trophy size has shown a growing tendency.the rutting season is usually very good at Ladek and the hilly terrain gives good, challenging stag hunting. Wild boar is usually hunted in combination with hunting for stags and hinds. Page 6
