3 ABOUT TRAVELING TO HUNGARY We are pleased that you ve booked a hunt at our company. We would like to call your attention to the following important things after entering the country: To the Attention of Citizens of European Community! Changes from the 21 st of December 2007 No passport check Hunters documents are not checked at borders any longer, however, the police of the motorway checks travelers randomly. Hunters should have a gun license valid in EU for transporting their shotguns. Documents Needed Your traveling Passport or ID card issued by your country Passport valid in EU for hunting guns Invitation letter of Forst Hungaria Co. Importing shot guns to Hungary Hunters do not need a gun import license to bring guns in the country any longer. Guns may be transported only with European gun passport, as specified in the New York Convention. Customs On the territory of the EU there are no borders, thus there is no customs declaration, however, according to the process in the EU mobile customs officers can check hunters within 30 km from borders. Regulations The same regulations apply to hunting as before. This means that hunters can participate in hunts under the condition of signing a hunting contract. Contracts are to be made by companies registered by the Hungarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. Furthermore, hunters should have a hunting license and a hunting insurance. Only hunters who have a hunter s ticket valid in their country can sign a hunting contract. In case of killing a protected animal, the hunter should pay the fine specified in the effective regulations. Veterinarian examination at borders According to EU Directives trophies and bagged games are not examined by veterinarians. Trophies and bagged animals may be exported from the country only in case of possessing the trophy judgment card. Random checks are possible. To the Attention of Hunters arriving from non-eu Member States 1. As the hunter can obtain a gun import license he should present the following documents at the Hungarian customs: invitation letter issued by Forst Hungaria Co. Ltd. Hunter s ticket valid in his own country passport valid for period of travelling 2. To obtain a gun import license hunters must enter Hungary at the following check point: Liszt Ferenc Airport, Budapest declaration line. This license costs HUF /gun, and to be presented to the police during stay and to the customs at departure. 3. Hunters wishing to export trophies to non-eu state shall present the following documents to customs officers at the crossing point where they leave EU: settled invoice customs declaration trophy judgement ticket veterinarian certificate (signed by an official veterinarian). Hind 120,- Hunting season: from 1 st of September -2 nd February Fawn, calf: 60,- Hunting season: from 1 st of September- 2 nd of February and from 1st of April till 30 th of June Personal guide and boiling and cleaning of antlers on the hunting-ground: 15.-/hunter/day 4

5 ROE DEER ROEBUCK Hunting season: from 15 th of April until 30 th of September Weight of antlers Euro + Euro/Gramm up to 149 grams grams 250 grams 300 grams 350 grams 400 grams 450 grams 500 grams Seasonal price discount for Roebucks! discount of 10% from 15 th of May for roebucks under 450 grams in East Hungary There might be added up to+ 10 % surcharge to these prices in West-Hungary. Transport from hunting lodge or hotel to the hunting field: 30.- Transport necessary for bodies until hunt is finished: 30.- Jeep usage during hunt: 1.-/km Antlers will be weighed, with great skull and upper jaw, 24 hours after having been boiled and cleaned. Upon the hunter s request antlers can also be weighed and charged with the great skull. In this case the hunter accepts the weight of antlers estimated by the scoring commission. Shooting of roe-doe, fawn: 50.- Hunting season from the 1 st October to the 2 nd March Wounded: 50 % of shooting price based on the estimated weight of antlers Personal guide and boiling and cleaning of antlers on the hunting-ground: 15.-/hunter/day 5

Wounding: 50 % of the shooting price based on the estimated length of horns of wounded moufflon ram. 10 SMALL GAME PHEASANT DRIVEN SHOOT Hunting season of pheasant: from 1 st of October until 28th of February Recommended hunting season: from 1 st of November until 15th December Famous private territories of East Hungary: Price of driven shoot: 50.- / hunter / day Shooting price: 20.- / piece Hunt for high-flying pheasants in surrounding of Budapest: Price offer due to individual inquiry. Important! Hunters have to pay only for pheasants which have been actually bagged, no charge will be counted for wounded and lost games. The archer may hunt with several birds. If we don t get any valid license information from you, Hungarian hunting license will be issued and charged on your hunting bill. Hunter s liability insurance: Euro 6.-/hunter (valid for 30 days) If you have liability insurance valid in Europe, there is no liability insurance needed for Hungary. In this case, please, submit us a copy of it with the number of your insurance and the name of the insurance company by signing your hunting contract. Trophies of red and fallow deer, moufflon and wild boar: up to 500 km from BUDAPEST : 60,- /trophy over 500 km from BUDAPEST : 12,-/100 Km/trophy Discount: from 2 pieces on the same adress:-10 % per trophy Wild boar tusks via post: Euro 15.-/pair, but at least: Euro 55,-/package Roe buck trophy via post /: Euro 20.-/pair, but at least: Euro 55,-/ package Delivery of trophies to Switzerland and other countries: Customs duty so as the fee of customs clearance paid by FORST HUNGARIA Co. will be added to the bill (Euro 60,-). 14
