Happy New Year! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming 2018 NMTA Convention this year in Albuquerque, NM. We hope that everyone is ready for the 2018 Western Regionals this year! We have some exciting new awards including cash awards from the SCI El Paso Chapter and Best in the West awards for the Western Regionals. This show promises to be one of our best events yet with several very informational & fun seminars, Taxidermy suppliers from all over the country (get your supply lists put together), and many opportunities to network with others in our field. 3 Live Competition Any Exotic Game Head Seminar NMTA Members are Invited to participate in a the Live Competition / Seminar This year's competition is Any Exotic Gamehead RULES: Seminar Purpose-To provide a hands on Seminar that is educational & entertaining. Entry Fee: $20 (All Entry Fees placed into the pot for the winner) Eligibility: Open to 2018 NMTA Registered Members Only Timed Event: 4 Hours (30 min Re-check will be allowed the next day before judging) 2018 Gamehead: Any Exotic Pre-Seminar Prep: Hide prepped including ear cartilage removed, Form roughed to prevent messy foam prep at seminar, Horns Set Tools: Bring your own box of tools (Air Compressors optional, will have 1 available) Judges Criteria: Best Visual Commercial Mount Competition Winner takes all Entry Fees Winner will choose next year s Live Gamehead Seminar Specimen To be held during the Friday Night 5pm to 9pm during Social Hour Past seminars were a BLAST, So Come enter or watch & learn, just don t miss out on the FUN!!! 2018 NMTA Convention Albuquerque, NM April 18-22, NMTA s 30 th Annual Anniversary Convention Calling for 2019 Convention Location Bids! That s right! It s the Associations 30 th Anniversary next year so we need a Great place to celebrate! See below for the criteria for choosing the perfect Location for this event. If you have a Great idea for a convention location, we invite you to gather information and bids from the ideal facility, and bring it to the NMTA members meeting to be held at the convention on Thursday, April 19, in Albuquerque, NM.
