3 Minutes for 8/27/2013 Meeting by Pam Place Meeting called to order ( 31 in Attendance including Guest ) - New members welcomed: James & Mary Mitchell and Thorsten Fosgate. - Secretary s minutes were read and approved. - Treasurer s report was read and approved. - As of 7/31/13; ending balance of $ Old Business: - Anna has new custom printed flags for SCMC. - Eric Frechette happy with budget submitted to Palm Bay Ford for this year s show. - In addition to the publishing of our monthly SCMC newsletter; Don Stehle has been very diligent in keeping membership roster current and will start sending mailing list for annual show. Special thanks to Don for all his time and effort! - Thanks to Ted for all the shopping, SCMC held another successful annual club picnic 8/18/13! MCA Grand National Show at Disneyworld to be held 8/30/13 9/01/13. New Business: - Club cruise-in at Beef O Brady s on Babcock 9/06/13. - Classic Reflections Car and Bike Show at Wickham park 9/07/13. - Thanks to Rich Novak for all his work in getting SCMC website back up and running; Program: - Pete Stasio, president of Mopars of Brevard spoke in regard to MOB Rock & Roll Revival to be held Sat. Oct. 5, 2013 at Melbourne Auditorium. Car Show 4 7 p.m. Dance 8-12 midnight. Featuring Cactus Jack & the Cadillacs. Net proceeds benefit Nana s House Winner: Ron & Cheryl Paesano won $ No winner present for membership drawing. Next month s drawing will be $ Meeting adjourned. The MCA maintains a liaison with the Ford Motor Company, promotes national activities, and encourages close relationships between all Regional Groups. Membership is open to all persons 16 years old or older, who either own or are interested in Mustang automobiles. Annual dues are $ A national MCA membership is not required to join our club, but it is strongly encouraged. Annual dues for the MCA are $50.00 ( Monthly dinner meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of the month at various restaurants announced in the newsletter or on our website ( Dinner starts at 6:00 PM and the meeting starts at 7:00 PM. Dinner will continue into the meeting and on occasion there will be presentations from members or advertisers. Members receive a monthly newsletter, a schedule of Mustang and other events, with free ads for members to sell cars / parts, along with other pertinent information. The club holds an annual picnic, a Christmas party, road rallies, and an annual car show sponsored by Palm Bay Ford, our great sponsor. MCA members receive a national magazine, MUS- TANG TIMES, an informative source for restoring, preserving, modifying and enjoying Mustangs of all years, interesting news stories, and free classified ads plus member discounts.
