3 Minutes for 7/23/2013 Meeting by Pam Place Minutes for 7/23/13 Meeting Meeting called to order ( 20 in Attendance ) - New members welcomed; Mike & Marilyn Day and Rob & Samantha Farley. - Secretary s minutes were read and approved. - Treasurer s report was read and approved. - As of 6/30/13; ending balance of $ Old Business: - Good turnout by club for Space Coast Harley Davidson show in Palm Bay 6/29/13. Show awards included Top 20 winners: Rich & Mary Novak, Lori & Jim O Byrne, Bob & Esther Place, Ernie & Pam Place and Barry & Carol Sterneck. Rich & Anna Peek won Best Interior and Don Stehle took home Best Ford. Way to go SCMC! - Initial show committee meeting held 7/16/13. Discussed judging, trophies, food vendors and budget for this year s show. Thanks to Lori & Jim O Byrne for hosting our meeting! - Anna submitted budget to Eric Frechette of Palm Bay Ford. - Ted and Don Stehle updating show flyers to be distributed no earlier than August. - Ted to do shopping for annual club picnic at Pelican Beach Park in Satellite Beach, Sunday August 18, Anna sent requesting members attending to sign up for covered dish. - Congrats T.J. Tschanz on successful Grand Opening of new shop on Babcock ( behind Quality Auto Service ) 7/06/13. SCMC wishes best of luck! New Business: - Anna researched prices for new club flags; voted on and approved ordering of custom printed flags for SCMC. - Don Stehle mentioned inquiries to SCMC website. The MCA maintains a liaison with the Ford Motor Company, promotes national activities, and encourages close relationships between all Regional Groups. Membership is open to all persons 16 years old or older, who either own or are interested in Mustang automobiles. Annual dues are $ A national MCA membership is not required to join our club, but it is strongly encouraged. Annual dues for the MCA are $50.00 ( Monthly dinner meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of the month at various restaurants announced in the newsletter or on our website ( Dinner starts at 6:00 PM and the meeting starts at 7:00 PM. Dinner will continue into the meeting and on occasion there will be presentations from members or advertisers. Members receive a monthly newsletter, a schedule of Mustang and other events, with free ads for members to sell cars / parts, along with other pertinent information. The club holds an annual picnic, a Christmas party, road rallies, and an annual car show sponsored by Palm Bay Ford, our great sponsor. MCA members receive a national magazine, MUS- TANG TIMES, an informative source for restoring, preserving, modifying and enjoying Mustangs of all years, interesting news stories, and free classified ads plus member discounts.
