1 HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 271 By Representative Tindell A RESOLUTION to approve annual events by 501(c)(3) organizations in accordance with the provisions of Article XI, Section 5 of the Constitution of Tennessee, and pursuant to the Tennessee Charitable Gaming Implementation Law. WHEREAS, Article XI, Section 5 of the Constitution of Tennessee, as implemented by the provisions of the Tennessee Charitable Gaming Implementation Law, requires each annual event operated for the benefit of a 501(c)(3) organization located in this state to be authorized by a two-thirds vote of all members elected to each house of the general assembly; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, that the House of Representatives hereby authorizes the following annual events: Tennessee Secretary of State's Office Charitable Organizations - Gaming Applications Omnibus List Year Ending 6/30/2009 Anderson - Total Approved in this County 3 Boys' Club of Oak Ridge FEIN Contact Lawrence A.
