2 Welcome Overview Windrock Park is one of the United States longest running off-road parks a premiere destination for outdoor adventure. Widely known for its 4x4 and ATV trails, Windrock Park has offered access to downhill mountain bikers since the early 2000's. A regional training ground to some of the top riders in the country, the trails are recognized for their technical, natural terrain. This year, Windrock is proud to present the Windrock Bike Park, a year-round mountain bike park showcasing its infamous raw terrain in addition to new segments of machine built flow trails, which allow access to a wider range of ability levels. Windrock Bike Park is powered by shuttle bus uplift getting riders safely and quickly the top of the mountain. Windrock Bike Park is a "by riders for riders" facility founded by downhill racer, Neko Mulally. Transportation Details Flying: Flying into East Tennessee is extremely easy, with two regional airports and two international airports in the area. Airports o McGhee Tyson Regional Airport (TWS) Knoxville, TN o Tri-Cities Regional Airport (TRI) Johnson City, TN o Nashville International Airport (BNA) Nashville, TN o Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) Atlanta, GA Ground Transportation: Windrock has an ideal setting because it is located within a short driving distance from several surrounding cities. Traveling I-75 north from Chattanooga: Take exit 376A (Hwy 162N) to Oak Ridge. Hwy 162 will merge with Hwy 62 in Solway. Follow Hwy 62 west through Oak Ridge (Hwy 62 is also named Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge) to the intersection of Hwy 95 (also named Oak Ridge Turnpike). Follow Hwy 62 into Oliver Springs 4.3 miles to a traffic light with a Food City Grocery Store on the right. Continue 1.2 miles on Hwy 62 to Windrock Road, just past the Oliver Springs overpass. Turn right on Windrock Road and continue.6 mile to Windrock Park Lane on the right to Windrock Park Campground or travel 2.4 miles on Windrock Road to Windrock Park General Store.

3 Traveling I-40 east from Nashville: Take Harriman/Rockwood Exit and turn right on Highway 27/61. Follow Hwy. 61 to the 1st traffic light in Oliver Springs. Go 200 yards, turn left onto Windrock Road and continue.6 miles to Windrock Park Lane on the right to Windrock Park Campground or travel 2.4 miles on Windrock Road to Windrock Park General Store. Traveling I-40 west from Asheville: Take I-40 west to exit 376A (Highway 162N) to Oak Ridge. Hwy 162 will merge with Hwy 62 in Solway. Follow Hwy 62 west through Oak Ridge (Hwy 62 is also named Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge) to the intersection of Hwy 95 (also named Oak Ridge Turnpike). There will be a gas station on the right and a river on the left. In 7 miles turn right onto Hwy In 2.5 miles there will be a Food City Grocery Store on the right. Continue 1.2 miles on Hwy 62 to Windrock Road, just past the Oliver Springs overpass. Turn right on Windrock Road and continue.6 mile to Windrock Park Lane on your right to Windrock Park Campground or continue on Windrock Road 2.4 miles to Windrock Park General Store.

For this year's course, there are new additions such as pro level machine built jumps, potential for higher speeds, and added line choices. The course descends 1,100 vertical feet over 1.5 miles. Amateur Race Course: Cat 3 Men/Women, Cat 2 Men/Women, and Cat 1 Adult/Women The amateur competitors will race on a separate course, featuring lower average speeds. The course descends 1,100 vertical feet over 1.5 miles.

7 Registration Information Online registration will be available at: On-site registration available beginning Wednesday, March 8th 2017 in the Windrock General Store. Entry Fees: Category Fee Pro Women/ Pro Men/ Cat 1 Junior Men $129 Cat 3 Women/ Cat 3 Men/ Cat 2 Women/ Cat 2 Men/ Cat 1 Adults $99 *There is no late fee for on-site registration Valid For Thursday-Saturday Friday-Sunday Licensing As a UCI/USAC sanctioned event, all participants MUST be licensed to participate in the event. Either a valid annual license (either UCI or USA Cycling) or a single event license is required. You can purchase a single event license at registration for $5. You can also purchase a USA Cycling annual license for Cat 2 or Cat 3, but no Cat 1 or Pro licenses will be sold on-site. No UCI licenses will be sold on-site as well.

Most racing will have second internals with short breaks between categories.
