The following information has been designed to assist you in your attendance at this event. 3 COMPETITION INFORMATION Training Dates : Training is available on Tuesday 28 th 10:30 12:00, Wednesday 29 th & Thursday 30 th 08:00 20:00 at the London Aquatics Centre, London. Dry diving & gym facilities are available at the competition venue. The gym will be open to the public but if equipment is available, divers are welcome to use the area. We would like to inform you that from 18:00 on Thursday 30th April during training there will be rehearsals for the Sports Presentation element of the event. This may cause some sound & lighting disturbances, but these will be kept to a minimum. If these are causing any concern please speak to a member of staff. During training a team manager may be approached to ask for the divers in their team to be involved in some pre event filming. This will be included in the event presentation to help crowd engagement so we do ask for your cooperation. Technical Meeting: British Swimming will host a Technical Meeting on Thursday 30 th May (24 Hours prior to the first competition of the Event), to be held at 12:00 at the Rome/Athens room in the Holiday Inn, Stratford. The FINA TDC Commission shall chair this meeting. The sports information desk and signage will direct you to the meeting room. Official Dinner: The Official Dinner is taking place on Saturday 2 nd May at 21:00. The dinner is being hosted at the AceelorMittal Orbit within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. All teams are expected to attend this and are invited to bring 2 representatives. Please inform the LOC of who will be attending on the sheet provided. About the Orbit Zoom up the lift and ascend 80 meters to the top of Britians tallest sculpture. Here you ll be greeted by a show-stopping panorama of London at it s very best. Play a spot of I spy with the view that stretches 20 miles and identify the iconic buildings that do the London skyline. The ArcelorMittal Orbit is the tallest sculpture in the UK at 114m high but if it were a vertical tower (with all the loops flattened out) it would be 560 metres, higher than the Eiffel Tower The design was the winning entry in a competition to design and produce a sculpture that would be an iconic centre-piece for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and act as an accessible work of public art

ATHLETE MEDICAL SERVICES First aid will be available at the competition venue during training and competition for divers. The designated hospital will be: Homerton, Homerton Row, London, E9 6SR Lifeguards will be on site at the competition venue to provide first aid during training and competition. A doctor will be onsite at the venue during competition times to provide medical treatment. Ice will be available at the competition venue for the treatment of injuries. We also have a physiotherapist for anyone who may require their services, they will be based next to the first aid room. DIVERS AND TEAM OFFICIALS SEATING Only those divers that are competing in the event taking place will be allowed on poolside. An area on the pool deck will also be provided for divers and team officials. SPORT INFORMATION DESK A Sport Information Desk will operate at the competition venue on the days of competition, as well as during any scheduled training sessions. NOTE: All the withdrawal and correction forms must first be approved by the referee and then handed to the Secretariat of the Competition. ACCREDITATION Accreditation will be collected from the London Aquatics Centre. The desk will be open at the following times: Tuesday 28 th April located downstairs at the main reception 10:00 12:00 Wednesday 29 th April located in the welcome zone, entrance from the main footbridge Sunday 2 nd May 08:00 20:00 For accreditation queries please contact the help desk on during the accreditation desk opening times. RULES The FINA/NVC Diving World Series will be conducted under FINA rules.

6 JUDGES Scoring: For the individual competitions, scoring will be in accordance with FINA Diving Rules D7.5. For the synchronized competitions there shall be 7 judges, comprising 2 execution judges and 5 synchronization judges. The secretaries shall accept the execution awards and shall cancel the highest and lowest synchronization awards and shall then calculate the score in accordance with FINA Diving Rule D7.7. PRIZE MONEY Each Event: The HMF/OC shall provide and pay prize money to a total of US$ at each Event to be divided between all of the 8 individual and synchro events, as follows: 1 st place: US$ nd place: US$ rd place: US$3 000 Sub-Total Total x 8 events = US$ US$ Overall Prize Money: FINA shall pay the overall prize money of USD to be divided between all of the 10 individual and synchro events, as follows: 1 st place: USD nd place: USD rd place USD th place USD th place USD th place USD Sub-Total USD Total x 10 Events=USD 870,000 A diver participating in an Individual Event is entitled to the overall prize money only if he/she takes part in all the meets of the Series. If a diver for reason of illness or injury is forced to withdraw part way through an event, the athlete will be deemed participated and will still be eligible for the prize pot as long as they participate in the remaining legs. For synchronized events, overall prize money will be paid only if a national federation s team takes part in all the meets of the Series

7 TRANSPORTATION London boasts many leading international airports, London Heathrow serves 184 destinations in 80 countries and 84 airlines. Transport will be provided free of charge between Monday 27 th April Monday 4 th May for all divers and team support staff between the Official Hotel and London Heathrow or London City airport Transport will only be provided to those people that submitted their flight information (Flight Number, Terminal, departure date / time, arrival date / time, airline and any other information required in the flight details form) no later than Friday 14 th March Divers, team officials and support staff are asked to provide their flight details using the supplied form to diving@cseplc.com You will be met at the airport on your arrival, if you are unable to locate someone please call: John Breslin Or Lucy Williams Transport will not be provided from the hotel to the competition venue as this is a short walk, however if you have a special requirement please discuss this with Lucy Williams. You are within minutes from the main financial centres of London City and Canary Wharf. The O2 Arena and Excel London Exhibition and Conference Centre are also close by. Stratford's most exciting bars and restaurants are literally on your door step, but if you fancy a night in then enjoy a meal or cocktail in the hotel's restaurant, lounge bar and outside terrace where one can enjoy panoramic views over the Olympic Park. After a long day, you can energise in the fully equipped gym or catch up on s in the business centre. The excellent

8 access of Stratford International Rail Station, Underground and DLR links you directly to the historical City of London and the many attractions of the West End, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, palaces and museums. The O2 Arena is 10 minutes away by Tube. All guests staying in the Staybridge Suites will receive a 35 per diem (based on the number of nights staying n the hotel) for Lunch and Dinner.
