1 INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVMENTS Cambridge International Examinations 202 In India there are in total 7 world toppers in 20 2 exam sessions. In total DAIS have 9 toppers; 4 world toppers and 5 India toppers in several subjects. The following students have topped the world in the following subjects and has been awarded certificate of Merit from Cambridge International Examinations :. Arjun Anand : Mathematics 2. Tavishi Pandey : Physical Education 2 World Robotics Olympiad First Lego League, Asia Pacific Open Hemani Kalucha of Class XB has won the Technical Excellence Award at the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) 202 for demonstrating very high technical design of the robot. Hemani s team was the clear choice of the judges amongst teams from 37 countries like Europe, South East Asia, Japan, and Australia. It is only the second time that any Indian team has won an award in the WRO in any category. Aakarsh Gupta of 9C won the first place in the recently concluded The FIRST Lego League, Asia Pacific Open in Sydney in 4 6 July 203. The FIRST Lego League (FLL) is a program that allows children from around the world to take their interest in robotics, science and engineering to the next level. This year, the theme of the FLL was Senior Solutions. There were 3 teams from 7 countries that participated. 4 Google Science Fair Aakarsh Gupta of 9C project was selected for the International Google science Fair and his finally in the top Commonwealth Essay Competition Round Square International Virtual Art Competition Established in 883, the Commonwealth Essay Competition Write Around the World has over 50,000 students participating annually in schools across the globe. The Essay topic for 202 was based on this year s Commonwealth theme: Connecting Cultures. Sanchit Jain and Astha Mehta (Class 0A) won the senior gold awards while Anuva Kapoor (Class 8A) was awarded the Bronze medal. Rhea Goenka of Class 9C was awarded the 2 nd Prize at the Round Square International Virtual Art Competition organised by Chittagong Grammar School. The theme: Reflections of past present and Future 7 Round Square Int Conference Ayushi Gupta of Class 2 stood 2 nd in the Round Square International Co Conference Art competition held in Penryn College, South Africa.

Mihir Swaroop : Physics 2 IRIS National Fair 202 Mudit Agarwala and Dharam Ashar, of Class 7A competed against 60 projects from all over India and were declared the Winners of the Special Award in Health Sciences in IRIS National Fair 202, held in Delhi 202. Their project was on The Effects of Sports and Energy Drinks on heart rate, reaction time and short term memory. They received the award from the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.

4 3 Indian Robotics Olympiad National IB Compendium Ingenius Scholarship Programme National Educational Excellence 203 Hemani Kalucha of Class 0B and her team has won the Indian Robot Olympiad (IRO) 202 (2nd position at the national level) in the open category which took place in Delhi on th and 2th October, 202. She is selected for World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) 202 in Malaysia. This time her team has been awarded with the cash money of rupees 50,000 as well along with the trophy and medals. The DAIS squad (Ananya Kala, Khyati Kanjani, Yuvraj Goswami, Shantanu Jain, Siddhant Jayakumar, Pratinav Anil, Aayush Kumaran and Sautrik Banerjee) emerged as the clear winners of the National IB Compendium 202 with them sweeping off the four awards in Debates, Quiz, Cartooning and Creative Writing. Siddhant Jayakumar also won the title of Best Speaker. Ingenius Scholarships is a unique programme to recognize and reward children who excel not just in academics but also in extra curricular activities. These Scholarships have been designed by the renowned personality, Derek O Brien. Participants from over 700 cities were shortlisted on the basis of Online Exams on GK and Creative writing followed by an interview with expert jury members. Insha Lakhani of 4B (Juniors Category from Grades 3 to 5) made it to the Grand Finale with 0 other students and won the second prize and a scholarship of Rs. lakh. Arshad Balwa of Class runs an NGO known as Writestep ( The NGO has recently won 2 National Awards viz. Assocham National Educational Excellence 203 and Indian Education Award from Dr. M.M. Pallam Raju, Hon'ble Union Minister for Human Resources and Development, Government of India. Writestep is a registered charitable trust and has recently given 3 scholarships to deserving students at ITI. 6 Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme, Cadbury Bournvita Quiz Contest Chrysalis Fusion of Talents STATE LEVEL ACHIEVEMENTS The HT Scholarship Programme recognizes the merit of school students in Mumbai on the basis of all round assessment of academics, extra curricular activities, community services and essay. Over 57, 000 applications from 280 schools are sent for this competition from which only 0 students make it to the finals. Our students have won prestigious scholarship the third year in succession. Ours is the only school from which the maximum numbers of winners have been declared. Anushka Basu (5 B), Jahnavi Mehta (6 B), Yannik Shetty Menon (7 A) and Ananya Vohra (8 A) were declared winners. Each winner was presented with certificates of achievement, a trophy and Rs. 50,000 to further their educational ambition. Mudit Agarwala and Prithivi Punjabi won the 2 nd position in the Bournvita Quiz Contest 202 for North Mumbai. They competed against 54 teams from Mumbai Queen Mary School organised an Inter School Competition on 8 February 203, where more than 6 schools participated. 70 of our students, both primary and secondary, participated in various events and did brilliantly. 7 4 WE ARE THE WORLD 202 Like each year, our school participated in the Annual Inter School Cultural Extravaganza at The Rotaract Club of H. R. College. A strong contingent of 90 students (from classes 7 to 0) took part in various events. We participated in roughly 7 events and won prizes in 2 of them. Overall, 29 schools participated and our school was the 2nd Runner up. The entire contingent was led brilliantly by Aanchal Maheshwari, a student of class 0 A. Our school was designated 'Italy' as their Nation. We won the following competitions: st place in Quiz (A Place for my Head) st Place in J.A.M.
