1 SWIMMING FEDERATION OF INDIA 11/A Vithalbhai Patel Colony, B/h Damubhai Vidyarthi Bhavan, Near Lakhudi Circle,Navrangpura AHMEDABAD To, All Office Bearers & Affiliated Units of SFI 04 th March, 2017 Sub: - 34 th GLENMARK Sub Junior National Aquatic Championships th June to 30 th June 2017 at Pune (Maharashtra) Dear Sir, I am pleased to inform you that 34 th GLENMARK Sub Junior National Aquatic Championships will be organized at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Swimming Pool, Balewadi, Pune, Maharashtra from 28 th June to 30 th June 2017 by Maharashtra Swimming Association under the auspices of Swimming Federation of India. The Championships will be held in the following Age Groups in Swimming and Diving for Boys & Girls in accordance with FINA rules. SWIMMING: Sub Junior Groups: Group III 11 & 12 years (Born in 2005 & 2006 ) Group IV 9 & 10 years (Born in 2007 & 2008 ) DIVING: Group I Group II Group III 16, 17 & 18years ( Born in the year 1999,2000,2001 ) 14 & 15 years (Born in the year 2002 & 2003) 12 & 13 years (Born in the year 2004 & 2005)

2 SWIMMING EVENTS: For Boys & Girls Events Group III Group IV Freestyle 50m, 100m, 200m 50m, 100m Backstroke 50m, 100m 50m Breaststroke 50m, 100m 50m Butterfly Stroke 50m, 100m 50m Individual Medley 200m 200m Freestyle Relay 4 x 50m 4 x 50m Medley Relay 4 x 50m 4 x 50m DIVING EVENTS: for Boys & Girls with Number of Dives Events Group I Group II Group III Boys Girls Boys Girls Boys Girls 1mt Spring Board mt Spring Board High Board Diving Championships will be conducted in accordance with FINA Age Group Rules for Boys & Girls. Each Diver shall have to perform number of Dives as per above table for respective Age groups. Individual championship will be given in each group. As per SFI General council decision A swimmer shall be allowed to enter in Maximum 4 Individual events in Group III. For Group IV this restriction will not apply. Best Swimmer Award will be given on the basis of performance of Individual swimmer in the championships. Enclosed please find the, Railway concession vouchers, Registration Forms, Order of Events, Qualifying Time / standard for Sub Junior National Aquatic Championships Individual ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLINE. ENTRY & REGISTRATION FEES:-

3 Registration Fees Rs.100/- Entry Fees Rs.40/- per event per head Relay Team Rs.200/- I Card charges Rs.200/- Along with Medical Form & Original Birth Date Certificate issued by Govt. authority. A copy of forms duly completed in all respect, along with a copy of State Championship/ Trial results, Registration Fees, Birth Date Certificate in ENGLISH along with Medical Examination Certificate for Age & Identity Card Format of each participant be submitted by Regd.A.D. / Speed Post to the General Secretary SFI at AHMEDABAD address only so as to reach on or before 12 th JUNE If the detail along with State Championship/ Trials results are not received by General Secretary SFI at AHMEDABAD on or before the last date,in all respect. After the last date entry will not be entertained. ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLINE PLEASE SEND ENTRY ONLINE. THE DATE WILL BE SENT SEPARATELY. ANY SUPPORT PLEASE CONTACT SFI OFFICE. LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES IN ALL AUTOMETIC CLOSED. SFI SHALL NOT ENTERTAIN YOUR ENTRY AFTER DEADLINE. PLEASE COMPLETE YOUR STATE EVENT/ SELECTION WELL BEFORE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT ENTRY INTIME. The Age Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation or competent Govt. Authority in ENGLISH along with Medical Examination Certificate for Age & Identity Card Format must be submitted failing which the Entries will be not entertained. As per SFI decision the Birth Date of each participant will be entered on the participation as well as winner Certificates. As per SFI General Council decision, for Sub Junior National Aquatic Championships, member unit can send One Entry for individual event with qualifying standard fixed by SFI for One Entry and if Two Entries for Individual events, both players must be within the Qualifying standard fixed by SFI for 2 Entries as per the attached Qualifying Time/ Standard Chart. If the swimmer fails to achieve qualifying time/standard, the unit will have to pay Rs.500/- as penalty per player per event irrespective of any reason. Swimmer who fails to achieve the qualifying standard will not be given participation certificate. Swimmer fails to enter in the event after sending the Entry by member unit, the member unit will be liable for penalty of Rs.500/- per event per player and the

4 swimmer will not be permitted to participate in the rest of championships. If the swimmer qualifies for Final and fails to enter in the Final, the unit will be liable for penalty of Rs.1000/- per event per swimmer and the swimmer will not be permitted to participate in the rest of championships. If no swimmer qualifies as per SFI fixed standard, the member unit at its discretion may enter Maximum 10 players (4 in each group in swimming & if divers are included total should not exceed 10 players.) Member units are entitled to keep their own qualifying standard for selection of their 4 swimmers. Penalty will be not charged and participation certificate will not be given to swimmers of such units. No Reserve will be permitted in individual events. Only registered players will be permitted to enter in Relays. Medals and Certificates will be awarded to the Finalist of the Relay only. TEAM OFFICIALS: Number of Team Officials permitted with each team as under; 1 to 5 Competitors - 1 Team Official 6 to 10 Competitors 2 Team Officials 11 to 20 Competitors 3 Team Officials 21 to 35 Competitors 4 Team Officials 36 and more competitors- 5 Team Officials NO EXTRA TEAM OFFICIALS WILL BE PERMITTED WITH THE TEAM MEDICAL BOARD: As decided by SFI, The President SFI will appoint a scrutiny committee (Medical Board) consisting of Three members and Two local Doctors to determine the Age of the participants. Necessary action will be taken against those who furnish incorrect information and/or certificate in regard to Age etc. Swimmers will not be permitted to participate in the Competition on recommendation of the board.
