Besides contributing to the healthy upraising of the youth in every aspect, from a sociological, physiological and psychological point of view, it keeps a man of every age bodily and mentally fit and strong. Another very important contribution of sports, especially team sports, is that they promote the feeling of partnership and hard work towards a common goal. This leads to the implementation and achievement of the goal of cohesion and the growth of the sense of belonging to a broader group of people, which defines another important strategy set for the society. In parallel to all that, people of the young generation are obliged to think of their future and upgrade their knowledge, and through the mastery of certain scientific fields of their interest increase their potential, in an effort to enhance their chances to be employed with good terms. It is therefore the responsibility and duty of all of us, trainers and educators at the same time, men who grew up in sports and at the same time had the drive to promote the scientific field of their choice at the highest level, that of a university or a higher education institution, to serve this dual role and encourage the young generation to find a healthy way in life, to help them find the safe Road of Balance and Success through Sports. At CMS Week in Cyprus, June 2008 For, it is a Balance between Sports and Knowledge, a Healthy Body and a Healthy Spirit, that makes a person happy. And once a person is happy, he or she will undoubtedly find, sooner or later, success and fulfillment in his/her life. «Νους Υγιής εν Σώματι Υγιή» as the ancient Greeks were saying, Healthy Brain in a Healthy Body. This is the Road for a Balanced Life; this is the Road for a Successful Life.
