7 DEVELOPMENT Our development programme has 4 main tiers: Club Development Athlete Development Coach Development Technical Development
8 Club Development Three new development clubs into the Judo 2 School programme: Gaborone Senior Secondary Botsalano Primary School BDF Development Club The children from the Judo 2 Schools programme are the core of our National Teams representing Botswana at all levels
9 Athlete Development International Training Camps Advent Monyatsiwa : AJU High Performance Training Centre Training camp in Dusseldorf, Germany over the period March Regional Training Camps 13 top judokas attended a high performance training camp in January 2013 for 10 days, in Bloemfontein at the Free State Sport Science Institute National Training Camps African Championships and SCSA Specific 13 top Judokas attended various training camps in preparation for the African Judo Union Cadet and Junior Championships as well as SCSA Zone VI games National Training Camps 3 National training camps for the judokas selected to represent Botswana at the South African International Open Championships Training Camps with Japanese coaches October 2012 Judo demonstrations working with the various judo clubs combined training camp for all athletes who wanted to attend.
10 Coach Development 3 coaches that went through the Federation Coaching accreditation are now coaches in our Judo 2 Schools Programme: Kingsley Sekgotlo Kgosipula Kuapa Japeta Letsholo International Seminar for Referee and Coaches IJF Referee and Coach Seminar in Morocco January Kingsley Sekgotlo Regional Coaching course 6 coaches attended a coaching course in Bloemfontein, South Africa over the period January 2013 hosted by Judo South Africa. 11 Official Development Parents Workshop A workshop was held for the parents on 16 th June 2012 at the Maharaja Conference Centre. Presentations were made by the Federation as well as the BNSC and the BNOC. Administration International Regional General Secretary Ms. Dorothy Tlagae being accepted onto the International Olympic Committee, MEMOS programme. Ms Tlagae and Ms Patricia Nthibo - Sports Administrators Summit - South African in 6-8 June Technical AJU C Referee - Japeta Letsholo. International Seminar for Referee and Coaches IJF Referee and Coach Seminar in Morocco January Japeta Letsholo.
12 COMPETITIONS National National Championships 28 th April 2012 Japanese Ambassadors Cup The Ambassador of Japan to Botswana, HE. Hiroyasu Kobayashi hosted the Japanese Ambassador s Cup on the 16 th September 2012 at the GICC.

16 COMPETITIONS International Advent Monyatsiwa participated in a two IJF events in the hope of qualifying for the London 2012 Olympic Games, they are as follows: February IJF World Cup Austria February IJF Grand Prix Düsseldorf
17 HOSTING African Cadet and Junior Championships 13 Countries participated in the championships, Algeria, Angola, Botswana, Chad, Gabon, Libya, Madagascar, Morocco, Mozambique, Mauritius Island, South Africa, Tunisia and Zimbabwe.
