2 INVITATION Dear Mr. President On behalf of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation I am proud to invite you and your athletes to participate in the El Hassan Cup International Open Taekwondo Tournament, which will be held in AMMAN, JORDAN, JULY El Hassan Cup International Open is granted as WT G1 as well. We guarantee high quality organization and competition with the best international referees in order to guarantee maximum transparency, fair play & impartiality for the athletes. 4 6. Contest Time: i. Seniors: 2 minute x 3 rounds with 1 minute break ii. Juniors and Cadets: 1.30 minute x 3 rounds with 1 minute break The time will be officially decide at the Head of team meeting. 7. Weight Divisions: Kyourugi Senior Male: -54, -58, -63, , -80, -87, +87. Senior Female: -46, -49, -53, -57,-62, -67, -73, +73. Junior Male: -45, -48, -51, -55, -59, -63, -68, -73, -78, +78. Junior Female: -42, -44, -46, -49, -52,-55, -59, -63, -68, +68. Cadet Male:-33, -37, -41, -45, -49, -53, -57, -61, -65, +65. Cadet Female: -29, -33, -37, -41, -44, -47, -51, -55, -59, +59 AGES : Note: WT Global Licence is mandatory for all age categories and it s free for Children. 5 8. Protective Equipment & Uniform : The participants shall wear the WT recognised Taekwondo Uniform. DAEDO GEN 2 PSS will be used in this Tournament and will be provided by the OC. All athletes must bring their own DAEDO GEN 2 sensor socks. Groin/Forearm/shin guards and Gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestants. Mouth piece is compulsory! (Only white or transparent) 9. Applications : To register and login to the service, please use this link: DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: AT LATEST 01st JULY :59 p.m. Amman time Entries after the deadline will not be accepted. Entries will stop when we reach 1500 players IMPORTANT: If the athlete registered online does not take part in the competition for some reason, but he/she has not been removed from the list of participants before deadline (01 JUL 2018) his/her team officially must fully (%100) pay his/her entry fee for the participation. 10. Referees Only International Referees will be accepted. An official invitation for the referees will be sent to all Federations. International referees will be selected by OC. 6 11. Entry Fee for Kyourugi: $ (USD) for each Contestant Entry Fee must be paid in cash during the registration for each category for all registered. Registration payments are non refundable! Changes of category after the deadline are allowed - Cost: 25$ (USD). Coach Free entrance for 1 coach per 5 participants, Coaches must be at least 18 years old. And holder of ATU Coach licence Accommodation will be paid onsite at the time of registration NOTE: Belt Requirements For Kyourugi: For Senior : Black belt 2 nd Kup and above. For Junior and Cadets: 1 st Kup and above. Reservations are only valid when payment have been received and confirmed OC. Incomplete application forms or applications without entry fees are invalid and will be sent back. Applications and payments must be sent at the same time. Receipt of hotel reservation and applications will be sent by . Payment must be done per team or club. Hotel reservations that are cancelled after 25 JUN 2018, will be fined %50 of the total hotel reservation cost. Hotel reservations that are cancelled after 1 JULY 2018, will be fined %100 of the total hotel reservation cost.

7 Only WT approved equipment will be used in this tournament (even Dobok etc.) Groin/forearm/shin guards and gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestants. Mouth piece is compulsory! ( White or transparent ) All the players must bring their own full equipment except body and head protector. Only competitors and coaches can be admittance to the field of play. Coaching is only allowed in sportswear. All coaches must be 18 years or older. First Aid will be provided by the organization and is only to be used in case of an emergency. 12. Insurance: and injures during their stay in Jordan. All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical treatment in Jordan. If not, this will have to be paid in cash. 13. Classification of Results: Individual Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top four athletes in the respective classifications and weight divisions as follows: 1st PLACE: 2nd PLACE: 3rd PLACE: 3rd PLACE: GOLD MEDAL & CERTIFICATE SILVER MEDAL & CERTIFICATE BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE TEAM AWARDS BY RANK: Based on the point system below, the top three (3) teams will receive trophies. 8 14.Head of Team Meeting & Drawing of Lots Session : FOR KYOURGI: The head of team meeting and the drawing of lots session shall be conducted on 4 th July 2018 one (1) day prior to the start of the championship. 15. Weigh-in: Weigh-in of the contestants will be completed one day before scheduled competition day. During the weigh-in, all contestants shall wear under pants and female contestants shall wear underpants and brassieres. However, contestants may weigh-in in the nude if they want to do so. 16. Indemnities: The respective national taekwondo associations shall be responsible for ensuring that their participants have validly completed and signed the official participation forms, thus indemnifying the organizers, its officials and other contestants from any claims of injuries, losses, fatalities or otherwise arising in the course of participation in this tournament or any activities thereto. The respective national taekwondo associations shall be responsible for ensuring that all officials and participants are covered with effective insurance coverage. Participants without proper participation entry forms and effective insurance coverage will not be allowed to compete at the championships. The Organizing Committee will acquire general insurance, at its own expenses, for all participants of the tournament, including but not limited to contestants and staff, in the event of any injury and/or damages that may arise during the course of the championship. 17. ANTI DOPING: a) Use of drugs or any other doping is strictly prohibited. b) The OC would carry out random medical doping tests among the participating athletes. c) Any athletes who refuse to undergo the tests or who is proven to have committed a breach of the regulation, shall be removed from the final standing, and shall be subject to disciplinary actions. d) The Anti-Doping Rules of the World Taekwondo Federation and/or the World Anti- Doping Code shall apply.
