3 2017 World Finals BEIJING 2017 Each year, the F5WC provides the opportunity for countries to bid for the hosting rights of the World Finals. After winning the bid for the 2017 World Finals, the tournament will be held in Beijing, China. 7 F5WC Growth 56 participating countries over the past 3 years Since its inception, the F5WC has grown at an unparalleled rate with over 50 countries applying to be National Local Organising Committees (LOC). COPA USA 5V5 is the National LOC for the USA and will sub-license tournament operators, clubs, and other organizations to hold regional tournaments as fund raisers. The champions of these regional tournaments will have guaranteed entry into the national championship at a reduced entry fee Winners in the Adult division at the National Championship will receive a prize of $5,000 and free entry all expense paid trip, for seven, to the World Cup Championships. Second place winners will receive a prize of $1,500 and third place winners will win $1,000 Winners in the U-16 division at the National Championship will receive free entry and an all expense paid trip, for seven, to the World Cup Championship. Any player who is getting paid to play or has a contract at the time of qualifiers or during the World Finals is ineligible to play. Teams will be disqualified and forfeit all games. 8 ROAD TO BEIJING REGIONAL LICENSE Copa USA 5V National Championship Tournament Southern California, March 10-12, 2017 Regional Tournaments will be held prior to that in various locations COPA USA REGIONAL REGIONAL REGIONAL REGIONAL REGIONAL LICENSES TO PRODUCE LOCAL QUALIFYING The license covers both those teams competing for World Cup and USA Champions. For 2017 only Boys U-16 and Men's Adult National Championship teams will be invited for an all expense paid trip, for seven, to compete in the World Cup. All other regional championship teams will be able to compete for the Copa USA Championship Teams may enter multiple regional championship tournaments to attempt to qualify. Regional champions in the mens open division (must be 16 or older in 2017) and mens youth division (must be 16 or younger in 2017) will go on to compete for entry into the World Cup 5V5 in Beijing at the USA National Championship in Southern California A regional tournament director can purchase a license and produce up to three tournaments in the region. Additional tournaments may be added to the regional license. Tournament director can set his own price for entry depending on local pricing. A prize may be awarded at the tournament director's option. The winning team of each licensed tournament is guaranteed entry in the US National COPA USA 5V5 tournament.
