3 BACKGROUND received his rﬆ kart as a gift from his father in 2001, and ﬆarted ﬆate competitions right away in regional and national levels. He was the ﬆate champion in kart racing 5 times in his homeland, twice regional champion of North-Northeaﬆ region and once national vice-champion in the Sudam-Junior category. He also won a lot of races from 2001 to 2014 in several Brazilian cities. In 2003 he received his rﬆ AT.V. (a Yamaha Raptor) and ﬆarted training on sand dunes, beaches and farms. He ﬆarted to compete in 2010 in the RALLY DOS SERTÕES-BRAZIL..

10 MISSION AND GOAL Our objective is to compete in the AT.V. category, managing to conclude the whole track At DAKAR and nish among the top ve placements in my rﬆ year of participation. I'll leave my city of SLZ that is about 6500 km from LIMA (PERU) where the DAKAR ﬆarts and will try to complete the entire route of the rally and to my city by way of Argentina covering more than 5000 km, approximately, for the total trip. I'm looking for sponsorship from the ﬆate government of Maranhão BRAZIL, together with the power company from my ﬆate CEMAR, and nancial help from my father.
