2 STEELERS RADIO COVERAGE MEDIA NOTES WEEKLY PRESS CONFERENCE Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin will conduct a press conference on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Noon (LIVE on ROOT Sports) in the Steelers press conference room at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex. For the 18th consecutive year, WDVE-FM (102.5) and WBGG-AM (970) are carrying all Steelers games. Additionally, Steelers games can be heard on a 48-station network spanning Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, New York and South Carolina. 3 2016 SCHEDULE NOTES The Steelers have won each of their fi rst three primetime games in 2016: a Kickoff Weekend Monday Night Football victory at the Washington Redskins (38-16), a Week Four Sunday Night Football win vs. Kansas City at Heinz Field (43-14) and a Thursday Night Football win on Thanksgiving Day at the Indianapolis Colts (28-7). Pittsburgh s fourth nationally televised primetime contest is schedule to occur at the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15 on Sunday Night Football, Dec. 18 (NBC, 8:30 p.m.). Pittsburgh will host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16 (NFL Network, 4:30 p.m.) on Dec. 25 to mark the fi rst Christmas Day game in franchise history. STEELERS ON THANKSGIVING The Steelers earned their second win on Thanksgiving Day in team history on Nov. 24 (Week 12), defeating the Indianapolis Colts 28-7 in a nationally televised primetime game on Thursday Night Football. Steelers President Art Rooney II announced during halftime of the team s first preseason game on KDKA-TV that the team s color rush uniforms will be all black with gold numbers THROWBACKS IN WEEK 5 The Steelers wore their 1934 throwback uniforms in Week Five against the New York Jets at Heinz Field. This marked the fi fth straight season Pittsburgh donned their 1934 throwback uniforms and the last occasion. The team fi rst wore these in 2012 during the team s 80th season in professional football.

4 FROM LAST WEEK S GAME AT INDIANAPOLIS THE STEELERS Pittsburgh improved to 6-5 overall, 5-3 vs. AFC teams, 3-3 on the road and to 3-0 in primetime games in The Steelers earned their second win on Thanksgiving Day in team history. The Steelers are now 17-6 in regular-season history against the Colts (6-4 on the road) and 2-0 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Pittsburgh is now 6-1 in primetime games against Indianapolis during the regular season (3-1 on the road). The Steelers have won four consecutive regularseason games against the Colts, dating back to Sept. 25, Pittsburgh improved to 4-2 in games against Indianapolis in the month of November (3-1 on the road in the month). Pittsburgh has held each of its previous two opponents to 10 points or less for the fi rst time since the 2011 season (Dec. 24, 2011-Jan. 1, 2012). His three touchdown receptions are tied for the second-most in Steelers history for a single-game, becoming the 13th player in team history to catch at least three scoring grabs in one game. Extended his consecutive regular-season games started streak to 47 the third-longest active consecutive games started streak among NFL wide receivers. Has registered at least one reception in 100 consecutive games in which he has played, including the postseason dating back to October 3, Has registered at least one reception in 95 consecutive regular-season games dating back to October 3, Hauled in his 80th reception of the season on his third catch, extending his streak of 80-catch seasons to four. NEW YORK Pittsburgh 24, New York 20 Nov. 4, 2012 MetLife Stadium (80,991) EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. RB Isaac Redman scored on a oneyard run with four minutes left in the game to seal the Steelers victory over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. The Steelers improved to 5-3 on the season with the win. After a scoreless fi rst quarter, the Steelers took a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter. QB Ben Roethlisberger found WR Emmanuel Sanders for a four-yard touchdown pass that capped off an 11-play, 58-yard drive. The Giants then scored 14-consecutive points in less than seven minutes. RB Andre Brown scored on a one-yard run to tie the game 7-7. And on the Steelers ensuing drive, Roethlisberger fumbled and Giants LB Michael Boley returned it 70 yards for a touchdown. Pittsburgh cut the lead when K Shaun Suisham connected on a 30-yard field goal as the halftime whistle sounded. The Giants extended their lead on K Lawrence Tynes 50-yard fi eld goal midway through the third quarter. Tynes added a 23-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to give New York a lead but it would be the last points the Giants would score. Early in the fourth quarter, Roethlisberger found WR Mike Wallace in the middle of the fi eld and Wallace raced past defenders for a 51-yard touchdown. It marked Wallace s 25th career reception of 25+ yards and the 15th that went for a touchdown. The Steelers defense forced a three-and-out on the Giants ensuing drive. WR Emmanuel Sanders then returned a punt 63 yards to set the Steelers up at the Giants 12-yard line. The Steelers drive stalled and the team set up for a fi eld goal. Pittsburgh went for the fake but the Giants stopped them short of the goal line. Pittsburgh s defense forced another Giants three-and-out. And on the Steelers next possession, the team drove 51 yards on nine plays for the game-winning touchdown. Entering the game, the Giants had outscored their opponents by 42 points in the fourth quarter. The Steelers defense didn t allow the Giants to score and the Steelers offense put up 14 points. After only being sacked six times all season, the Steelers defense brought down Giants QB Eli Manning twice. 7 STEELERS-GIANTS CONNECTIONS STEELERS-GIANTS CONNECTIONS Steelers in Bold; Giants in Bold Italic Former Steelers/Giants Steelers TE coach James Daniel held the same position with the Giants from Giants P Brad Wing punted for the Steelers during the 2014 season. New York asst. DL coach Jeff Zgonina was selected by Pittsburgh in the seventh round (185 th overall) of the 1993 NFL Draft, where he played from Giants asst. ST coach Dwayne Stukes spent time on the Steelers roster in Area Connections Steelers WRs Antonio Brown and Eli Rogers, along with CB Artie Burns and DE Stephon Tuitt are all from Miami, Fla, where Giants DE Oliver Vernon is also from.
