3 2018 SCHEDULE NOTES The Steelers are slated to appear in fi ve nationally televised primetime games, including two at Heinz Field, during the NFL s 2018 regular season, it was announced when the NFL unveiled its 2018 regular season schedule. Pittsburgh s two home nationally televised primetime games in 2018 are scheduled for this week, Week Four, when it hosts the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football (NBC, 8:20 p.m.) and Week 10 when it hosts the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football (FOX/NFLN 8:20). The Steelers three other primetime matchups in 2018 will occur on the road in Weeks Three, 11 and 14. The team will travel to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week Three (Sept. 24) for a Monday Night Football tilt (ESPN, 8:15 p.m.). Pittsburgh heads to Jacksonville in Week 11 (Nov. 18) to face the Jaguars on Sunday Night Football (NBC, 8:20 p.m.) and caps off its regular season primetime schedule in Week 14 (Dec.) with a Sunday Night Football game at the Oakland Raiders (NBC, 8:20 p.m.). The Steelers bye week will be on Oct. 21 (Week Seven). Sacked Tampa Bay QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (minus four yards) in the third quarter, his second sack of the 2018 season, and increased his career total to STEELERS NAME FOUR TEAM CAPTAINS The Steelers selected four players to serve as team captains for the 2018 season, the team announced through a vote of their teammates. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and center Maurkice Pouncey will serve as the offensive captains, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward will serve as the defensive captain and kicker Chris Boswell will serve as the special teams captain. Roethlisberger has been selected as an offensive captain for the 10th time in his career (2008, 09, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18). This marks Heyward s fourth consecutive year as a captain ( ), and the second time Pouncey has been named a captain (2013, 18). Boswell has been named a captain for the fi rst time in his career. CB ARTIE BURNS Forced a fumble in the second quarter of Tampa Bay WR Chris Godwin, which was recovered by CB Mike Hilton, marking the fi rst defensive forced fumble of his NFL career. CB MIKE HILTON Picked off Tampa Bay QB Ryan Fitzpatrick in the second quarter at Pittsburgh s six-yard line his fi rst interception of 2018 and the third of his NFL career.
