3 2018 SCHEDULE NOTES The Steelers have played two of their five scheduled nationally televised primetime games, including one of two at Heinz Field, during the 2018 season. Pittsburgh s fi rst home nationally televised primetime game occurred in Week Four, when it hosted the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football (NBC.). The team's next home primetime game comes in Week 10 when it hosts the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football (FOX/NFLN 8:20). The Steelers have appeared in one of their three other primetime road matchups in 2018, defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football in Week Three. Pittsburgh heads to Jacksonville in Week 11 (Nov. 18) to face the Jaguars on Sunday Night Football (NBC, 8:20 p.m.) and caps off its regular season primetime schedule in Week 14 (Dec.) with a Sunday Night Football game at the Oakland Raiders (NBC, 8:20 p.m.). ATLANTA THE STEELERS Pittsburgh earned its 100th regular-season victory at Heinz Field since the stadium opened in 2001, in the team s 139th game at the venue, tying as the fourth-fewest games to reach 100 wins in a particular stadium (New England at Gillette Stadium: 119, Pittsburgh at Three Rivers Stadium: 133, Miami at Orange Bowl: 137, Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium: 139). STEELERS NAME FOUR TEAM CAPTAINS The Steelers selected four players to serve as team captains for the 2018 season, the team announced through a vote of their teammates. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and center Maurkice Pouncey will serve as the offensive captains, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward will serve as the defensive captain and kicker Chris Boswell will serve as the special teams captain. Roethlisberger has been selected as an offensive captain for the 10th time in his career (2008, 09, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18). This marks Heyward s fourth consecutive year as a captain ( ), and the second time Pouncey has been named a captain (2013, 18). Boswell has been named a captain for the fi rst time in his career.
