Asst. Coach BJC Broncos hailed another successful football season this year and took the Intermountain Conference Championship for the fifth consecutive year. The Broncos won eight of the nine games scheduled. One of the victories was the Second Annual Bronco Bowl held at Bronco Stadium on Nov. 14. BJC took the game over the Bacone Indians, The final game of the season with Pasadena City College was an "actual loss, but a moral victory," with a score of 6-0, Pasadena's favor.

Their stiff opposition included the Iowa Ghosts, the Harlem Globetrotters, and Fort Lewis, Washington. The team won second place in the Northern Division of the I.C.A.C. and took second place honors in the Region IV Tournament at Ephraim, Utah.
